There are two different quests for inscriptionists at this location. This quest, By The Book, will take you into a drawn world much like the Mages Academy quest in Azsuna. A little difficult to see, but you can tell where the mobs are. You need to kill enough sanguinated mobs to get 12 of their blood to activate the runes in the last room. After they are activated, the quest will throw you back to the person you received it from. Make sure you are ready to kill things in the area as aggro mobs are all around the quest giver. Be sure to pick up the second quest there as well. It will require you going back to Arom's Stand to kill the yetis that are near the Azerite Mining quests area. Once these two inscription quests are done, the quest giver (Kronah) will send you to Zandalar for the next step.

In case you missed it, there's a book on the table to the left to Kronah, that you click and takes you into a sepia-toned dreamworld where you kill oozes to progress the story forward.

Interesting detail: when in the prison of ink the music from Stormwind plays. Presumably this is because the prison is reusing assets from the Stockades.
