This is the new chapter of the storyline, and the penultimate one of Breaching the Tomb.

Considering we're so deep into the story, 15K Resources right now are a bit of a lackluster reward.

You may be reading this too late, but if you can, accept this quest before you go to your class order hall to complete any follower missions that are finished. If they sent your followers to the Broken Shore, then those will count for this quest already.

As for which missions count as "Legionfall Missions", you check the Class Hall Missions board. It's missions with a background that shows the Broken Shore.

Any mission that rewards Legionfall War Supplies or Legionfall Insignia is a safe bet. However, beware that the item level 900 Elite Strike missions that are up when the Command Center is constructed do not count for this quest. It seemed likely for them to count, but it's now confirmed that they do not. It's possible Blizzard may hotfix that at some point.
There has just been a hotfix that lets the Elite Strike missions count for this. You also only need to complete 1 follower mission now, instead of 3. And the Blood of a Titan mission for Blood of Sargeras now also counts.

This mission is part of Breaching the Tomb and is available from May 30th. This whole questline is pretty much a barrier to work through to unlock the class mount questline. Second to last, so at least if you've reached this point, the end is in sight.

The quest rewards a Chest of Champion Equipment and 15.000 Order Resources. Perhaps not useful to everyone, but my alts can certainly use those resources.

I am currently running the Blood of a Titan mission that takes place on the Broken Shore and only requires ilvl 760 from your champions, so not all missions that validate this quest require a high item level.

EDIT: in my experience, and Alyssadril's too, that mission does NOT count towards this quest's goal. I tested that on 3 different characters, and no dice.
Devs, please.

EDIT 2: A Tale of Two Suramars has switched rewards from a nightfallen insignia to a legionfall one. It still does not count for this quest.

as Myzou just pointed out, this is not the norm. There's no Wowhead filter yet on mission location, so browsing to figure out which missions count toward this goal is a little tedious.

This is obviously trivial on your main character, but get ready to crank out the champion equipment orders (or for some classes, the order hall advancement that sometimes rewards champion equipment upon mission completion) and start leveling your alts' champions.
The only good thing here is that the reward will make up for the spent resources. I do hope you have the Legion app installed on your Android/IOS device, though.

If you have all classes and have been doing these quests, it is now my favorite, those 15k come in handy for the alts at least.
Just log in each, go get the quest, ONLY THEN go to your class hall to complete any missions you already had. You might progress in this quest with any from Broken Shore you've done, and be done with this quest later today or tomorrow, on all toons.

I remember when blizz said we wouldn't have another "garrison" in Legion. There would be no followers and there would be no mission table. I like the complete 180 they did. Not only do we have mission "tables", but followers are pretty much needed to get through both class and hall quest lines AND now they're needed for a quest line that truly doesn't even involve them. This expansion was supposed to center solely around our character, NOT our followers, but I guess that wasn't good enough and this quest proves that.

Funny how everyone downvoted this and yet it was one of the key things that people DID NOT WANT that was carried over from WoD.

*edit 2: It looks like lower ilvl missions now count instead of the really high end ones and they lowered the requirement from three to one, so I guess that's something.

*edit 3: It has just been confirmed that mission tables WILL be returning in Battle for Azeroth. It seems Blizz just doesn't give a !@#$ about listening to people and how much they DON'T want these mission tables. Probably have Curious Coins again too.

*edit 4: Can't get enough tables? Do you want more tables and followers? Shadowlands will have them too! It's like Blizz is really listening to us!

Damn it, Blizz. If you're gonna give us quests like this, at least put more of them up on our Missions table! I have only been able to do 1 on my 10 characters!

The 760 ilvl requiring Blood Mission that takes place in the Broken Shore as well as the Elite Strike Missions from the Command Center don't count. As far as I can tell only the Legionfall Insignia awarding Missions and Resource awarding missions count.

Blizzard hotfixed the Quest and now it counts all Missions that take place in the Broken Shore: Elite Strikes, Insignia/Resource awarding Missions and the one most important for alts: the 760 iLvL requiring Blood of the Titans Mission since you won't need high iLvl on your Champions.

is no one else angry that this has been an incredibly lazy questline? i mean seriously... some of these quests are just complete time wasters. i don't even mind that they only let you do one part per week... kinda adds to the excitement to get the next part each week (even though im disappointed each time). this ending is so anticlimactic... i mean seriously? the last part of this questline that we've all been doing for weeks ends with us having to do order hall missions? this questline had potential to be so awesome and it has honestly SUCKED (from a horde perspective).

This quest, along with every weekly quest in this quest line may as well read as:

"Quest: Wait until next week. Oh? You want something to do? Uh, ok...kill 10 somethings...or um, you can do some...missions? Or, um, something."

It's one thing to gate content, but these quests have felt extremely superficial. Such a pity...

Can anyone post the requirements for getting the Broken Shore missions to spawn? Like will they only spawn if you have a 870 IL follower? 2 followers? Epic quality? This quest chain has been dreadfully boring and now this quest is going to stop many people from getting the class mounts on alts who have not focused on the command table missions or gearing followers.

Update: I contacted a Game Master and the GM told me that the devs have released nothing on how or what spawns the Broken Shore quests so even the GMs don't know what the requirements are. I got 1 on my main; all I have is 1 epic 860 follower, but still not sure what the minimum requirements are to spawn these missions.

To complete this quest, you need to select the missions in your order hall for your champions that have "Broken Shores" as the location. Open any mission and see where it is located.
They come in varied required levels so there should be no problem to find ones that fit your level champions.

I just finished two of the Elite Strike missions from the Command Center, and they did NOT count for the quest.

Shame, they're the ones that would've made most sense, right?

Hi all I'm hoping that someone can please help me out here as I'm pretty lost as to why on my Blood Elf Hunter when I am at the point in the Broken Shore Quest Chain "Championing our Cause" there are absolutely zero Broken Shore Missions appearing on my Class Order Hall Mission Board. Is it because my followers Item Level is to low still, is it because I didn't complete the quest: Investigate The Broken Shore that they aren't appearing or what is the real reason as I'm pretty much completely clueless here as what is going on with them not appearing on my Mission Board.

I just completed two missions. One was in the Broken Shore the other was in Dalaran (however, the background of the mission had the Broken Shore skin and the enemies were broken shore demons), and neither of them gave me credit for this quest..? Can someone explain what missions fit the requirements to complete this?

I can confirm for some god awful reason, getting Broken Shore quests to spawn require THREE champions at ilvl850. (it may be 855, I had blue armor left, so they jumped to 855).

AKA This is where most alts stop the class mount/class hall story, as I don't know anyone who actually invested in their alts champions.

This has been hotfixed as of 6/6/17. It no longer requires multiple champions of a high ilvl. They now have a chance of spawning simply by having the Broken Shore champion (you may need to elevate it 5 ilvls to 855), and I was able to "cheat" by using JUST the broken shore champion and two minions to complete it on every class.

I got this quest on Wednesday (5/31) and then sent my followers on 3 Broken Shore missions. I'm 2/3 and I just turned in the 3rd one and didn't get credit...

I just saw a way to 'cheat' this one if you are having trouble getting Broken Shore missions to show up.

The 'Menace to the Broken Shore' mission can be repeated for credit, if you still have it on an alt. As long as you do not turn in the quest for completing Menace, abandoning that quest and start it again will add 'Menace' back to your mission list.

They changed q a little. Now you only need 1 mission ( it still says 3 in the top but on requirement is now 1) and if you got 1/3 or 2/3 before this change it changes to completed.

In the week since this quest was released I've had zero Broken Shore missions spawn. Is there a trick or is it just bad luck? I have 5 ilvl 850 champions and still nothing.

It should be noted that even though 7.2.0 lowered the requirement from 3 to 1 of the Legionfall Missions, the quest text still reads as 3:

Successfully complete 3 Legionfall Missions at your class order hall.

0/1 Legionfall Missions

Soo to clarify it IS indeed only 1 mission as shown on the quest objective, despite the quest text still saying 3, that is an error that was never fixed when patched.

Blizzard has appeared to have added new 760ilevel missions to the class hall mission table.

I now am able to complete this quest on all my alts.

After getting 3 champions to 835 ilvl(not sure if a coincidence or not) two missions for Broken Shore popped up. The first one was just 760 ilvl and was called Hope Betrayed. It did count for the quest as you can see on this screenshot. Have fun with your new class mount!

I rerolled just before this questline was introduced. I was worried I'd be gated behind this for weeks trying to catch up my followers to my old main, who had taken months to get high IL champions. But it turns out that the Legionfall missions are not all demanding of high IL! In my case, I satisfied this quest with a il760 mission. Keep at it, and good luck, rerollers and altoholics all!

For some strange reason, hunters do not get Broken Shore 760 itl missions. I've got 2 hunters at this stage of the QL and neither of them have any Broken Shore related missions at all.

Just started working on my DK and only his legionfall follower is 110 I had no broken shore world quests until I picked up "Championing our cause" not sure if its coincidence or if that had anything to do with it but minutes before I picked up the quest the broken shore mission wasnt there and I hadnt completed any new missions. The quest that spaned is a 760 ilvl AP mission called Portal Disruption with a base 8 hour duration brought down to 6 hours with the counter. As far as Blood of the Titan not working they must have fixed it because it worked for my Priest just days before I started working on my DK. Hope this helps those looking for it.

So I dont know if anyone mentioned it because I couldn't stand reading through all the comments but for the last 3 toons after I pick up Championing our cause quest a broken shore mission is waiting for me at my order hall once I hearth to it. So they must have patched it to help people dealing with the rng of waiting for a mission to spawn. Also the quest for the formerly mentioned 3 toons is always 760 champion ilvl so you can start it as soon as you get back to your order hall no gearing required.

Edit: I only have 1 follower at 850 ilvl the one that comes from Champions of Legionfall quest all others are 760 ilvl max 775 outside of the one 850 ilvl champion so I don't believe there is an ilvl requirement. Just pick up the quest and head straight to your order hall to start the mission its always an 8 hour mission with no timer reduction trait.

As of 7.2.5 I was able to complete the mission That Which Shatters Worlds which is only a level 760 quest and have it count for this quest.

Don't use the Legion app - IF you have it - to turn in your 3 missions. I did and I didn't get credit for it at all. It kinda made me mad since I waited over 5 hours for 2 of the 3 missions to complete :(

Okay. Couple of things to note:
1. If you get back to your command table and there's no Broken Shore quest waiting for you (check the location of the quest when you're looking at the point where you select followers to send), then close the command table window down, and re-open it. That seems to do the trick to get it to spawn one in that is marked as 110 level usually.
2. If you have a broken shore quest that is completed BEFORE you get this, do not finish it off, but get "Championing Our Cause" first, then go back to the command table and THEN finish that Broken Shore quest... as it is the completing of such quests that is checked for by this quest. This will give you a virtually instant step on to the next step (Strike Them Down).

Note: It is actually possible to fail this quest, so make sure you have 100% on whichever quest you do.

The class hall missions that give credit for this will be labeled "Broken Shore" if you look at the zone they take place in. Also, any class hall mission that gives rewards for the Legionfall/Broken Shore (Legionfall Insignia, Legionfall War Supplies, etc.) is a safe bet.

The quest will not show progress (for example, it wont say "1/3 missions completed") until you have completed all 3 missions.

FYI you can instantly boost any champion to ilvl 880 with the Relinquished Armor Set purchased from Warmage Kath'leen at Deliverance Point for 400 Nethershards.

This will get your champions up to an ilvl where they can do Legionfall missions.

This quest gave me (added it to the available missions) a Broken Shore mission with no expiration. Every other mission is set in Argus.

Thanks to Orderhall Commander, I know, in exactly 5 hours, I'll be able to send this 16 hour mission (Portal Disruption) out at 200%.

This was strange. My Demon Hunter alt had some pretty miserable followers and none above, say, 800. It looked like I was going to have to grind for a while to get the Broken shore missions to show above the minus column. But salvation came from a side quest to obtain another follower. When I finished that, I had a follower added to my roster AND it fulfilled the requirements of this quest! NO MISSION TABLE quest was done at all! Whew!

You can actually start a Broken Shore mission long before you get the quest, for example when you start working towards your Breaching the Tomb.
You will get credit towards the quest when you finish the mission, not when you start it.
So start a Broken shore mission when you will start with your Mark of the Sentinax quest. By the time you'll get Championing Our Cause, you'll have the mission ready.

Khadgar's quip about saying something Odyn would say is in reference to Tony Amendola, the voice actor who plays both Khadgar and Odyn. A subtle little blink and you'll miss it joke.

I am so happy that this quest awards 15k Order Resources/order-resources which is the cost of /legionfall-united. Makes it so much easier for alts, add to that, its only a ilevel 760 mission now. Thanks Blizz, you got this change right.

Legionfall Campaign:

***Note: It is recommended to work on the treasure finding quests the goblins south-west of Deliverance Point give you, in order for you to have eight world quests available when it comes time to complete them for step 11. The goblin's last quest isn't available until the following day/reset. Their final quest opens up the world quest Treasure Master Iks'reeged.

1. Assault on the Broken Shore (Intro Scenario)

2. Legionfall Supplies (Collect 100 order resources)

3. Aalgen Point (Visit flightplan)

4. Vengeance Point (Visit flightplan)

5. Begin Construction (Use construction table to donate Legionfall War Supplies to the construction of a building)

6. Altar of the Aegis (NOT REQUIRED!) (Accepting the quest will cause the NPCs to run away. Relogging will cause them to reappear)

7. Defending Broken Isles (Defeat a Legion invasion in the Broken Isles). If one is not available, it is recommended to continue on your class hall questline if it hasn't been completed yet. There will not be a follow-up quest to Defending Broken Isles unless you have completed your class hall campaign.

8. Champions of Legionfall (Return to your class order hall and recruit a new champion)

9. Shard Times (Collect 2500 Nethershards to give to Khadgar)

10. Mark of the Sentinax (Collect 50 Marks of the Sentinax)

11. Self-Fulfilling Prophecy (Complete 8 world quests on the Broken Shore)

12. Intolerable Infestation (Slay 50 demons in Faronaar or Felsoul Hold)

13. Relieved of Their Valuables (Find 3 Hidden Wyrmtongue Caches on the Broken Shore)

14. Take Out The Head... (Slay 3 Rare Elites on the Broken Shore)

15. Championing Our Cause (Successfully complete a Legionfall mission at your Class Order Hall) (The mission can be put in before ever accepting this quest, but do not complete/accept the rewards from the mission before accepting this quest in order to get quest credit.)

16. Strike Them Down (Slay 100 demons on the Broken Shore)

The Legionfall Campaign is then complete, and you should receive a quest from an NPC at Deliverance Point to start your class mount questline.

The two quests listed above are definitely not required for the Legionfall Campaign (or to get your class mount).

I don't know how I done it, but I just do 2-3 missionw that was NOT legionfall and I get credit for this quest and my followers its just 760 with one 850 ilvl 0_o

Make sure the title underneath says Broken Shore otherwise, it will not count (such as Azuna, Val'sharah, Stormheim, etc.)

who I the HELL designed these quests and do they still have a job, because they damn well SHOULDN'T.
I just don't get why blizzard seem to think WAITING is good or engaging GAMEPLAY.
oh yes and even better, this time it isn't even a special quest line so the minimum one I have is EIGHT HOURS.
Once again, I have to abandon my play session and find something to do while I wait. Hmm, maybe I'll play a videogame. Wouldn't that be novel.

I've got to this stage today, trying to get the class mount for my alt Druid. Just in case anyone is as confused as I was I thought I'd let you know - I upgraded my followers to plvl880 using Relinquished Armor Set (purchased from Warmage Kath'leen at Deliverance Point for 400 Nethershards) and got given a few mission options.

I chose a random one with the Broken Shore background and title that gave Wakening Essence as a reward and was 6 hours long and it counted towards the quest.

I can't say for sure this is 100% but if you click on the mission and it says Broken Shore and has the Broken Shore background, hopefully it works! (It was still a lvl 45 mission, one of the new ones that popped up with my follower upgrade).

As of the latest patch (9.2) you only have to do ONE quest on your table, just make sure it's for the Broken Shore, doesn't matter what kind of quest.

I strongly get the feeling that in order to successfully get these missions to proc, I have to set my 925 and 900 level heroes aside so it decides these are the only ones up.

I'm on second phase Shadowlands and I've had this quest on my log for MONTHS even though I fill clicky time in lines with the WoW companion app to see if the quest type shows up.

If you are here for you class mount, REJOICE!

From patch 9.1.5, Breaching the Tomb achievement becomes Account-Wide. Meaning it is only required on one character in order to unlock the class mounts quests on other alts!

HOWEVER, each character must still complete their class hall campaign, get their titles, and recruit their final order hall champion.

According to older posts, any mission to the Broken Shore already begun but not yet flagged complete, will count for this quest. I can attest from *former* experiences that this *was* so. I can further attest from recent experience that it is no longer so. The quest finally popped for me yesterday, and just after I'd sent out not one, but two Broken Shore missions. Recalling what *had* been true formerly, I didn't sweat it and rather considered myself (retroactively) clever, 'set for life', 'in like Flynn...' Ah but this is Blizzard and I have paid for my hubris. Those missions — definitely NOT completed before I took the quest — came back but did not count. Apparently Blizzard 'fixed' this and it is now "working as intended per our conveniently sliding scale of intention whereby we decide what we intended matches whatever result we actually get after the fact."

I read a lot of people saying that you could pre-emptively start a Broken Shore mission on your mission board before getting to this point, and then just turn it in when you're working on the achievement.

This did not work for me, even though I got my last Order Hall Champion weeks ago. I kept checking every day and doing missions over and over to try and get a Broken Shore one to proc after everyone said it was "instant the second you got your last champion". It was in fact, not.

So I did all the Broken Shore campaign stuff, one by one, until the next one in the achievement panel was for 'Championing Our Cause' - and then I was offered it as a quest from Khadgar. At that moment, after picking up the quest, was when the Broken Shore mission finally became available.

The missions in question are called "elite strike force" missions. They come up when the Command Center is built, and will be available for 3 days. You can check with the donation table at Deliverance Point to see progress on this.

Under Command Center, if you mouse over Forces of the Order, you see...

"Cathedral World Quests"
"Legionfall Reinforcements"
"Elite Strikes
Send worthy champions on a challenging but lucrative mission deep into the heart of the Broken Shore."

That last one.

The Rogue Class Order board is currently not spawned due to TWW and the pre-patch, so good luck completing this questline if you're a rogue and you were trying to get this done before the next expansion.
