As of July 4 on Beta to complete the last stage you need to switch to combat and use grapple to get into the room to trigger the event.

Just make sure that you enter the room in stealth to get the credit for the quest. Didnt have such a good laugh on myself in a long time after I finally figured it out.

Note: if you have graphics quality set to < 5 or have manually disabled projected textures, you will not be able to see the blood trail on the ground. Turn it on to follow the trail, or simply go to the upper floor of the Legerdemain Lounge to complete the last stage of the quest.

I can go upstairs in stealth, listen to them talk about the murder then...nothing. No credit or anything. If you stick around and wait they just start talking about the same stuff. Can't get it beyond that point.

Objective stuck on 'Blood Trail Located'?
Go back to the very first blood splat (at the entrance to the Rogue area) and stand on top of it with the glasses on. If that doesn't work then abandon and pick the quest back up again, putting the glasses on before you leave the room.

You need to be stealthed when entering the upstairs of the Inn. You'll get credit immediately and don't need to stick around listening to them talking if you don't want to.

If you're having trouble getting past the 'Blood trail located' part of this quest, simply go down into the Rogue Class Hall - Cloaked Vestibule, as that is where the trail starts. Re-equip the glasses if necessary.

I had thought it started up top outside the shop and didn't equip the glasses until I got up there. That's why it wasn't recognizing for me.

Want to keep hold of this hot looking eyewear?

Even if you stash the glasses in your bank, turning in the quest will make 'em disappear. But don't lose hope! There is a workaround:

Before turning in the quest, remove the sunglasses and sell them to a vendor. (Griftah would be appropriate.)
Turn in the quest.
Return to a vendor and buy them back!

Ta-da!

Although the names are deliberately generic, the suited, sunglass-wearing agents Smith and Jones are probably an homage to two of the three main AI agents in The Matrix.

If you end up following the trail without properly *progressing* the quest by standing on the first blood spatter, the agents will say all the reveal dialogue twice.

Equip glasses, when you are next to quest point, you'll see a blood on the ground. Get out of class hall and turn right. Go straight till Krasus landing, turn left there and go inside the Legerdmain Lounge and get to the second floor. There you'll see two guys in a room, who do their business and talk about that murder. Thats done.

I'm quite surprised this hasn't been mention yet, the two agents in the room are characters from the movie "Men In Black" played by Will Smith (Agent Smith) and Tommy Lee Jones (Agent Jones).

I'm stuck on this quest, I've tracked down the 2 agents, I stealthed just inside the entrance to the room they are in which started their dialogue, but nothing happens after Agent Smith says "We should have killed her in Citrine Bay. Doing the hit in Dalaran was too risky! We can't afford witnesses..."
The quest doesn't complete and there's no more dialogue, what am I not doing here?

Edit: I was still on the first part of the quest that asks you to locate the trail -_-

Description

We need to find out who is behind the assassination of Amber Kearnen.

It won't be long before SI:7 realizes that their agent is MIA and comes sniffing around The Hall of Shadows.

Here, take these stylish spy glasses and set them to scan for traces of hemoglobin. I've taken the liberty of calibrating them specifically for Amber Kearnen's blood.

Follow the blood trail back to the culprits, but make sure to stay out of sight!
