I guess the easy way to do this in live would be buying all of the Aethril (which is a new herb in legion) from the auction house. But currently in beta these sell for 800g a piece in the AH, so that was not an option.

Here's what you do if you can't afford to buy them:

1-If you don't already have herbalism, go learn it from this trainer in dalaran : www.wowhead.com/maps?data=4395:435335

2-Go to Azsuna, run around until you find an Aethril, as soon as you collect it you will get a quest item.

3-Turn in that quest to the trainer back in dalaran, grab new quest, go herb some more Aethril, turn that quest in, repeat this a few times until you get your Aethril gathering rank to 3.

4-Now you are going to run around in Azsuna and just gather Aethril, my drop rates of Aethril for rank 3 varied from 2-5 per herb, while sometimes spawning a mob that dropped 10-12.

This took me 2-3 hours to finish.
After you turn this in to Noggenfogger, he will give you this quest: A Particularly Potent Potion
Which i believe is the start of a chain of quests that finally end in you recruiting Noggenfogger as your follower. He's level 109.

Unless you're willing to spend about 1k on this quest (at least on my relatively dead realm), just grab herbalism on one of your alts. You can gather this at level 1 Herbalism. It only spawns in Azshuna.

This is a part of chain that leading you to obtain Marin Noggenfogger as Follower on lvl 109.

Chain has 3 quests, starts directly from Marin Noggenfogger in Rogue Order Hall.

1. Noggenfogger's Reasonable Request
Basicly just buy 20 Aethril on Auction House. It is really cheap.
2. A Particularly Potent Potion
Fly directly on flying mount at the center of area and do quest by talking with npc and watching over for guards with Detection. IMPORTANT! This must be done in stealth.
3. Champion: Marin Noggenfogger
Just pick him ;)

I just had my boyfriend who has herbalism get it for me. I walked around and protected him from Horde players, and he got them for me. That's the easiest I think.

I'm a tad confused here. Marin Noggenfogger, after turning this quest in says, "...Now we're square. Business as usual goin' forward. Feel free to use the crucible as much as you like."

What is he talking about? Or, is it just talk and there isn't a thing you can do with a crucible?

In the quest text, Valeera says, "Of course, if you would rather, I can eliminate him."
Sadly, there is no option to have her eliminate him, nor can you attack/challenge him yourself.
I wanted to at least give him a good thrashing for his demands.

For those who were wondering; this quest plays out the same, regardless of the option you chose in the first quest with noggenfogger.
Down to the last line, since he still says this is revenge for you "holding a knife to his throat" even if you didn't do that.
How shockingly lazy! Would it have really been so hard to put in an alternate line where he says "yeah you paid me, but not enough, now i want more stuff"
Way to show low standards of writing and way to show that wow lacks any element of player choice!
Edit: Oh and yeah, like Liriell said; this lack of choice is underscored further by the fact that valeera suggest you eliminate him, a choice you're not given.

The aforementioned quest in which you are able to hold a knife to his throat appears to no longer be in the game, meaning he has no real reason for saying that you did; so now, he's screwing you over simply because he can. But hey, that's a goblin for you.

Description

Oh, the gall of that little green twerp! Marin Noggenfogger is blackmailing us. He says that if we do not meet his "very reasonable requisition request", he is going to close off access to the crucible. Marin's asking for a hefty amount of Aethril. He said something about you recently holding a blade to his throat and that he's simply returning the favor. Of course, if you would rather, I can eliminate him.
