Quest start is Chen Stormstout in Razor Hill, after you do the Blood in the Snow scenario quest, Dark Heart of Pandaria scenario quest, helped Vol'jin in Sen'jin villiage, and finally take Razor Hill.

Seer Hao Pham Roo is at 45/48 Kun-Lai Summit. No coords: He's at the slope just north of the largest mountain (Mount Neverest).

For those else of you who don't read quest text, he's at 45.0 47.8 in KUN-LAI SUMMIT. Don't do what I did and fly around the coords of Durotar for 10 mins looking for him.

This starts at
War is Coming in the Vale, quest is automatic.
2 scenarios follow, The King and the Council then The Warchief and the Darkness.
Both of these can be queued for either in the normal scenario finder, or by clicking on the table in front of Lorewalker Cho.

Once completed, you receive The Darkspear Rebellion that takes you to Durotar.
A quick conversation Vol'jin of the Darkspear then you're off to the Barrens to do Battlefield: Barrens,
grabbing a load of resources for the upcoming war.
On completion back at Sen'jin village you start Battle of Sen'jin Village, kill assorted Korkron attackers.
Hand in back at the village, then quickly up to Razor Hill to do Battle of Razor Hill.
Once all this is done, you go to the watchtower overlooking Razor Hill to hand in, where you can then pick up the weekly quest
Battlefield: Barrens, same as the earlier one, but much more so. 10 times more so in fact.
At the same time, just behind Voljin is Lorewalker Cho, hiding under the watch-tower. This is where you get this quest The Old Seer, which completes up in Kun-Lai summit at

I just came back to the game so am a little confused everything i have read states that after you get the quest to get the 10 pieces of oil wood and stone you get the battle for senjin village quest, I did the first one to get the 10 pieces but i never got the battle for senjin village quest just the weekly quest, can anyone tell me whats going on, I also did the Emporors quest.

Despite being marked obsolete, this quest is still available to do (per comments on Blizzard forums). This no longer requires you to do Battlefield Barrens, and instead is just given to you directly by Lorewalker Cho after doing the Blood in the Snow quest.

WowHead needs to update this - they put this back in game - which is AWESOME. Great, great quest. Reward is nice. Lore is better. Highly recommended!

although it says the quest is no longer available within the game, i finish it today. It was in the quest log lost for some time.
Maybe if you are already in the questline you can do it...

Just wanted to point out that the quest is available, the red text is incorrect. I just picked this quest up today.

Still available if you haven't had a chance to do the lead-in quest. Kind of fun but not the easiest thing in the world. On the way up to the top of the mountain, you get blown around by the winds, which is kind of amusing but also attacked by a bunch of demented Christmas Tree ornaments that actually do a fair amount of damage and they are in groups of two and three. Not difficult but you need to hit each level first before fighting with the ornaments or the quest will fail, so you need to ignore the ornaments while the wind blows you off course while you're trying to get to the next stage.

If the quest glitches (mine did once), just head back down the mountain, find Shaohao (Hao Pham Roo), abandon the quest and he will offer it to you again.

Unusually good gear rewards when you get to the top. Epic boots in this case and likewise on another character. Definitely worth doing.

Amazing how Blizz wastes money creating, then deleting content. Have had this quest forever and was hoping to get it done today, on this toon. <silly nerds> :P

It says that this quest is no longer in the game. I just finished it and the follow on quest.

It was given by Lorewalker Cho located in the Mogu'Shan Palace in his "hideaway" at the top.

Go figure...

Locate Seer Hao Pham Roo on the slopes of Mount Neverest in Kun-Lai Summit.

Description

I can help you collect the pieces a story, but it is up to you tie them together. And I may know just where you could do such a thing.

I have heard tales of an elderly scholar named Seer Hao Pham Roo. He is something of an... expert on Pandaria's history, and may be able to shed light on Pandaria's current turmoil.

Seek him out, <name>. Last I heard, he was planning to retrace the emperor's steps by scaling Mount Neverest, in Kun-Lai.
