Night elf mobs on the approach to Sarannha are pretty tough and have caught me off guard to be honest. Not only do they hit relatively hard, come in packs of 2-4 but they also have a nasty debuff that stacks and can tick for a lot. In hindsight, maybe it would be best to let Ishi tank them and only get aggro of one at a time.

This quests ends awfully abruptly... It seems like there ought to be a follow up from Ishi, but there isn't. It just doesn't flow very well, there's no "Well, we'll form an attack on Darnassus later, go get some rest for now."

Also remember to follow the clouds on the tile when approaching the first time, otherwise you will get owned by the arrows, fire and brimstone traps.

I concur, there could have been a small followup quest and the way it ends, leaves you using your hearth to get back. They could have provided a portal back to DP.

I did this on my mage and all of the night elf mobs attacked me, I didn't have the option of letting Ishi tank for me. I also sheeped one and he broke sheep. Not sure what the answer is here other than try and attack the same one he does.

I eventually died on the 2nd group of these and had to run in from gy back down to 2nd group and when I rezzed there was only one nelf ranger so was ez from there.

This quest is kind of ridiculous period, but to save yourself some trouble in the second room with the statues and cave ins, hug the left or right wall and you can avoid both of those things.

Just for clarification, the blizz quest tracker was a bit mis-leading again.

The skull icon was appearing in the first big room (with the trap tiles on the floor), but shes actually on the level below you. So you'll need to go straight ahead, through the tunnel and navigate the room with the collapsing ceiling (as suggested here just hug a wall), then just follow the path, it's a typical Mogu underground area (think crypts in Vale of Eternal Blossoms).

The statues don't come to life, but do the typical Mogu aoe on the floor - just keep moving. Boss herself is easy, just avoid (yet more) aoe!

Just a note, if you die near the altar in the upper room with the archers you can corpse run and rez in the lower chamber right next to Sarannha Skyglaive. Saved me some time.

This is one messed up quest, I got down to Sarannha Skyglaive and started to attack her and part way into fight she jumps through the ceiling back to the first floor & doesn't return....luckily another horde was up there & killed her for me. I wasn't really wanting to back track up through all the statues to fight her & have the chance she would "warp" again.

I died 3 or 4 times before figuring out how to stand out of harms way while Ishi and my tank pet brought down the NPC. I stood in the middle of one of the brazers directly across from to the ghost. I was out of range to fire my bow, but that was not necessary. All I did throughout the encounter was heal my pet. Once the NPC was tanked to 69k, I jumped off and slammed her with a couple of arrows. Down she went and the quest was finally over! Definitely not one of my favorites.

An amusing bug is, when you switch spec after talking to ishi, he despawns.
So i had to do the whole thing alone as ret. Damn coward :)
Save a CD for the "ambush" when all sentinels come at you, else it's a cake.

As usual, nice story, but you feel a bit disappointed when there's no follow up (yet)

Enter the passageway and when you reach the room with the tiles, stand only on the BLUE ones. Head to the central 'altar' area and kill a few elite 90s on the way.

Ahead there is a room filled with collapsing rocks and statues. Head left behind these and hug the wall to the other side.

Here several elites attack you so be ready. Your NPC can tank them but use your cooldowns as you can rest afterwards.

The next section is annoying as you run down steps with random collapsing attacks and AOEs hitting you and knocking you about. Use survival powers such as Dispersion and shields, and ones to move you quickly through such as blink.

The miniboss isn't hard to fight luckily just let the NPC tank as much as he can and avoid the AOEs and whirlwind.

This quest is bad and whoever designed it should feel bad.

Also, since they don't mention them: don't step on the trap tiles.

This quest was kinda abruptly ended - you kill the NE, she tells you where the bell is (like a moron) and then Ishi just says good job and stands there looking at where the portal was.
No cookie crumb quest to the next stage, no "we'll call you", nothing - just run out or hearth back.

As for everyone complaining about the tiles - those tile traps have been used all through mists - in the treasure room scenario, in questing, and I think even in 5mans/scenarios. They are nothing new unless you leveled up by PVP or professions.

Quest was quite easy as a monk. The Skyglave Sentinels are easy enough to kill. You can pull the first two in the room with the falling rocks with your Crackling Jade Lightning and after you kill them, the rocks don't fall any more. Flying serpent kick gets you through the first room of statues. And Chi Roll comes in really handy. Just keep moving til you get to the NE. She's a wimp (as all NE's are) and you can kill her pretty quickly. Dumb azz ending to the quest. Unless you want to chance running back through all that crap you ran through to get to her, use your hearth to get out. Go back to Domination Point to continue with the questline.

dont know whats up with this place, but everytime I entered my FPS dropped to 11 and stayed there, only after i killed her did it go back to 130+

Just finished this quest, and I am biting my tongue so as to not say the angry things I was thinking. This was not a good quest.

This is a horrible quest, with a bug in. First time round, I got killed even before engaging any enemies by the dumb traps. Got killed a couple more times before I finally decided to spawn right where my enemies were. Then finally, got onto a staircase, only to be hit by a falling Mogu statue, which then propelled me through the air, over the barricade, and into the water. As soon as I got to the water the game bugged out, disconnected me, and when I logged back on, transported me right out of the building. So I had to go through the traps all over again. Horrible quest, which clearly wasn't checked for bugs.

I had an issue after killing Sarannha Skyglaive, Ishi didn't give the option to complete the quest. I logged out and back in and he the ? was there.

So I got to the end of this and wasn't able to hand in the quest.

You need to let Ishi attack Sarannha Skyglaive before you one shot her otherwise it bugs out and Ishi won't have the quest hand in marker.

So don't be like me and abandon the quest, go away from the area, have to fly back and hope that the starter quest is there and phew.

If you one shot the boss and the quest bugged out, just relog will fix it.
