She is found in Elwynn forest, not in Stormwind City. I made this mistake and was flying all over Stormwind looking for the Stormwind Vineyard that was never there. Hopefully this will help others not make the same mistake.

Here is my Quicklist Guide to the Alliance Side of the Pet Trainer Intro Quests. This is a quick reference to see what type of pets you will need to defeat the trainers easily. On Trainers who have the same type of pet for all 3 pets in their party, I would recommend you bring at least two pets that are the opposite type (i.e. bring three appropriate leveled Mechanical types to fight three trainer Beasts). Don't rely on fighting all three of their pets with just one of yours, despite the fact that they will have stronger attacks and defeat them quicker.

1st Tier Alliance Trainer Questline (Starts in Eastern Kingdoms)

To defeat these trainers with maximum efficiency, you will need pets of the following type:
Mechanical, Beast, Elemental, Magic, Dragonkin, Undead

Julia Stevens - Elwynn Forest, Maclure Vineyards
Quickteam List – Minimum level 2 Mechanical Type
Pet 1: Fangs - Level 2 Beast - Use Mechanical
Pet 2: Slither – Level 2 Beast - Use Mechanical

Although you can complete this quest on a horde character, if an alliance character on your account picks it up, you will be unable to accept the next quest in the chain from the NPC that you just defeated and your alliance character will have to run to the master to accept it for you.

I completed this whole chain by running a Level 23 Alliance character to each of the trainers to accept quests. As I didn't have a high level Alliance character to escort, I simply followed on my Horde druid killing any mobs nearby. The highest level are the chain takes you to is Southern STV and if you follow the road there are only a few places that you will definitely pull aggro and have to corpse run. Even so, I suggest you do it on a NElf for Wisp.

So i wanted to do this quest line with my main lvl60. Started a month ago after almost 10 years not playing WOW. It's Pet Battle Bonus Event weekend, good time to do some Pet Battles.

BUT, i didn't found the quest. I saw Audrey Burnhep, talked to her, but no quests to give. Went to the other quest givers (maybe i did it back in the days), but after 5 more fisits, still no quest. Looked up all my characters on Wowhead, all of them didn't finish te quest line.

THEN i suddenly saw a quest mark on the map with the Julia, The Pet Tamer quest, with one of my alts (lvl21) in Stormwind. Checked other alts, some did show the quest mark, some don't.

The quest line is account bound. To confirm. You can pick up the quest with your alt. When you log into your high lvl main character, the quest is also in his/her quest log.

(Took me a couple of hours to find this out. :| )

For everyone who cant see this quest and dont have it in the quest book. Just create a new human character and on the1st level run to Stormwind. Quest will be there. This quest is wareband shared so it will be shares across all your characters. Now you can login to your main and enjoy the quest.

Okay, for anyone who is having difficulty challenging Julia to a battle, check and see if this situation might describe you as well:

The character you're playing on has not completed the introduction to The Battle for Azeroth and/or has also not received the Heart of Azeroth necklace from Magni.

This was the case for me, at least. There is a support article in the game that lets you know what quests you may need to have completed in order to receive the quest in your capitol city to begin challenging the trainers in the starting zones.

It should be fairly quick, but it was not at all intuitive.

I hope this helps someone more quickly than I could help myself.
