This quest was a little buggy for me, as nothing would happen.

To fix, I found that you must stand outside until AFTER the yeti has leapt out of the cage. After that, ensure you can target the NPC to kill before entering the cage.

I figured I would kite him through the laser beam until he was dead. He'll die, but you won't get credit. Then I thought, well, maybe I have to have the killing blow, so I kited him through the laser beam until he was severely injured and then I got the killing blow. Still no credit for the kill. It turns out that you really need to fight him. You can run away from him and let him get hit by the laser, but to get credit for the kill, it seems as if you have to do the majority of the damage to him yourself. I came to this conclusion after about 20 attempts and the only time I got credit was when I did the majority of the damage to him.

I was able to complete this with my Warrior / Druid pair by hitting him a few times and rooting him in place for the Laser to do most all the damage as well as the killing shot and got credit.

For me this quest is very odd. I can see the big NPC inside the cage, but as I get closer, he disappears!

The quest text here is erroneous. The quest-giver tells you to meet him at Kota Basecamp - he's not there, but back at the Burlap Waystation. I made the mistake of reading the quest text and not looking at the map.

Okay, so this quest was bugged for me. I'd kill the leader, but it wouldn't register and then just reset. After a few attempts I solved it. Walk straight into the middle straight away. Stay there are kill the leader when he appears.

Definitely a weird one. You only get credit if you kill him from the middle of the dome.

Well I'm in quite the predicament with this quest. I got over to the large yeti guy and the goat or yak (can't remember) started to aggro and circle him, naturally my dungeon queue went off and after waiting 20-30 mins and for those you don't just pass it up. After I finished my dungeon and came back out I went down to the quest location. I obviously didn't get credit for the quest. On my map I can see the Yeti and other spawns but as I get closer everyone disappears and there is meat laying around like he was blown up.

I thought okay wait to see if he respawns. He hasn't yet so I abandoned the quest (this has worked for me on some things in the past) and went back to the quest giver location on the map at the Burlap Waystation. I don't see the quest unless I'm in the wrong place. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If you're a priest, don't bother mind controlling him through the fire to kill him. Won't get you credit. Neither will stopping most of the way and then killing him.

In Remix you can just nuke Ook yourself. No need for lasers or giant yeti.

Description

The time has come to face the Ook of Dook. We beat him, and the hozen won't have someone telling them to ravage.

Here is the plan: Yakshoe will lead Tassle in to arena and scare away Chomp Chomp.

Then, you sneak in and fight the Ook of Dook while his hozen are distracted by the yeti rampaging through their home.

We'll meet you back at Kota Basecamp with a big reward. Good fortune to you, friend of grummles.
