You can just hop in the cart and go AFK for a few minutes. The cart takes no damage, the yeti despawns, and you arrive at the destination ready to turn in the quest.

I call this the LFR Quest, because you get carried while AFKing and still win. It really ought to reward epics.

If you're having issues in 8.0, just don't use any of the cart abilities. When I initially did the quest at 110, I kept bugging through the terrain, and it was only triggered after using the items. Once I stopped using them and let the cart go on its own it completed.

Just a little warning that this quest is a bit more dangerous now. There are hozen at the end of the trail, just at the crossroads, that are skull-level (currently playing a level 99, so I guess they are 110). The hozen are apparently for the monk class mount quest.

They WILL attack and follow you to the end station (I had 3, the number may be different depending), and continue to attack until you die. Or possibly manage to kill them (they hit quite hard, and take reduced damage). Or have an ability to leave combat, like Feign Death, which I constantly fail to remember to use.

They gave my hunter 1296 xp at level 99.

This quest is currently bugged. Anytime I right-clicked an enemy, the cart would veer off course and then seem to try and correct itself by going straight back to the quest start area, even if it meant going out of bounds. As long as I didn't right-click any enemies, I was able to complete the quest just fine. Note that when the Hozen jump on the cart you don't actually have to target them to knock them off. Use the spice ability anytime you see one jump in the air and they will get knocked off. When the Yeti shows up I didn't have to do anything; the cart made it to the end and everything despawned.

Description

The mountain pass is very dangerous. You need much luck to survive. Nephew Bentnail will show you the way.

Perhaps today is a lucky day to travel though. Wind blows from the east; this is good sign. Grummles always travel best when east wind blows.
