I just attempted this quest, and when flying past the Twilight Highlands near Wetlands, I got the No Man's Land debuff and was teleported off the rocket back in to Wetlands.

The rocket quest worked for me, and I grabbed the flight point in Fuselight so I could return later. But the flight point is bugged. I tried to fly from Stormwind to Fuselight and it took me all the way up to the Eastern Plaugelands and then dumped me in the Wetlands.

I finally travelled to Badlands via Ironforge, Dun Morough, once a got another flight point in the Badlands I could fly to Fuselight

Okay, i tried this 4 times and at the fourth try i reached badlands with the "Uncrushable".
It was a little casualty that i had my wow minimized before the last try and im not sure if that made me just continue the trip without been dumped in wetlands.
So, is still buggy and i was lucky :P

Badlands is now accessible via Searing Gorge (via Loch Modan, through the tunnel at the very southwest end). You must traverse all of Badands, but that is better than not getting there at all.

I'm sure this glitch will be fixed, but until then, thats how you get to FbtS.

there is a teleporter due east from fuselight badlands up on the hillside that teleports you to the quest area where eddie is, i found this by fluke trying to find a way in :)

As of 6 PM EST, the rocket did not pass through Twilight Highlands. I was taken through Wetlands and arrived at Fuselight by the Sea without any issues. Yay hotfix! Hopefully they will get around to fixing Uther's Blessing -.-

Just completed this quest today and did not get thrown or dumped at Wetlands. It was the first try so I guess the rolling restart this morning fixed it.

so, I also was dropped in the Twilight Highlands/Wetlands around 11:50 EST, 11/27/10 but I sort of found a way around this quest.

I saw that I was close to Hammerfall, so I headed there and found out that I had a flightpath to New Kargath, also in Badlands, so I flew there and there is a questing hub for lvl 44+, I'm not sure if you can get to Fuselight this way but there isnt another way if the quest is bugged for you.

Lvl 80 warrior, was dropped from the mount into Wetlands, just outside the gates to Twilight Highlands, as per other posts above, at around 22.00 GMT 27/11/2010.

Headed to Searing Gorge and rode through the mountain pass into Badlands and then through to Fuselight-on-Sea.

I reckon you can also swim/waterwalk from Blasted Lands to get here as well, although haven't tested this yet.

Imo, it kinda makes sense for it to not drop you when wow is minimized. We are not supposed to see Twilight Highlands before the expansion and if the game is minimized, well, one does not really get to see anything, therefore it will work properly. Now, how the game knows I'm not looking, that's a different story :O

I can confirm that riding the rocket while the game is minimized works. I just did it without getting dumped. >.< When you get to Arathi, minimize!

I just tried it on with the window minimized and it worked. My husband tried it a few minutes ago with the window up and got kicked. Coincidence? Maybe.

Fun fact: You get XP for discovering anything that the rocket passes through so it is possible to level up while on the rocket. :3

I tabbed out while in flight and was dumped in the middle of Wetlands.

Working on finding an alternate route into badlands since there is now a noticeable gorge between weltands and Badlands.

Maybe I should try to jump it on a skateboard?

Talked to a GM about this quest two days ago and they said that this quest will be working properly after the 7th, since the quest does go by Twilight Highlands. Though it makes me wonder if someone didn't upgrade would they be able to complete this quest?

Also, anyone know how to get to the completion point?

To all Horde players having trouble with this. THERE IS STILL A LAND ROUTE INTO THE BADLANDS.

For those not familiar, start in Arathi at Hammerfall and go south across the Thandol Span into the Wetlands(or mount up outside the Twilight Highlands as appropriate). Head south to the entrance to Dun Algaz and go on through. If you're on this quest all the Alliance mobs there will be grey and should be easily avoidable. Continue south into Loch Modan. Go around to the southern part of Loch Modan where Grizzlepaw Ridge is. You can look across the chasm and see the Badlands. You'll know you're in the right place because there's low-level Fire Elementals near.

If you look along the side of the chasm, there is a trail leading down and back up into the Badlands. It's not crystal-clear obvious, but it is there. You might want to dismount and walk down on foot to keep from falling as it is a pretty sheer trail.

Once you're in the Badlands, I highly recommend you go and get the FP at New Kargath immediately. This will give you a viable flight route from the Undercity in the north down to the southern part of the Eastern Kingdoms. No more stupid reroutes over the Twilight Highlands!

I made it on the first try all the way to the quest completion guy.

However, since I am still hated with all the Goblins in the World (of Warcraft), I cannot turn it in, and am now stuck in an area with no way to get out except for a long walk.

Moral of the story? Don't accept this quest if the Goblins hate you.

Invaluable quest while leveling Archaeology at 85. Beats any flight path from Northern Eastern Kingdoms to Badlands, I've used this countless times moving onto southern dig sites. Accept quest, rocket to Badlands, abandon after landing and it'll be ready to go again next time you head for your southern dig sites.

Funny story... since the NPCs in Fuselight are of Gadgetzan origin, if you happened to make them angry via the Bloodsail Admiral achievement, you are not welcome at any of these quest hubs until you get it fixed via War at Sea and such...

The uncrashable is a rocketship that is just inside the western gate at the Light Hope's Cathedral in the EASTERN PLAGUELANDS...

After obtaining this quest, simply click on the rocket and off you go.

This should be the final quest in the zone and ideally only 3 zones should remain in your accomplishment list:

*Badlands
*Burning Steppes
*Searing Gorge

of coarse to each their own.

Pursue the other northern Eastern Kingdoms zones b4 taking the ride down south.

Just wanted to let everyone know.... this quest was not bugged for me... I did the quest today and I was taken all the way to the questing area with no problem.. So either they fixed the bug or it doesnt bug for some... No clue... but glad to see that it worked.. Hope everyone else about to attempt this is successful... if you get thrown off send a ticket in.

Just ride 'The Uncrashable', a rocket mount located left from Beezil, next to Gek Nozzlerocket, near the entrance of Light's Hope Chapel and it'll take you to the Badlands!

Unlike me I went to fuselight by the sea and completed this quest and then left without discovering a flight path and am now having problems trying to find a way back to Badlands

Below is the description I have for the video which mentions the flight time of the rocket vs the flight master.

Flying times:
(1) 4 minutes and 56 seconds (00:19 to 5:15) using the "Uncrashable" rocket from Light's Hope Chapel to Fuselight-by-the-sea.
(2) 5 minutes and 23 seconds from Light Hope's Chapel to Fueslight using the flightmaster (closest place with flight master, slightly north-west of fuseglight-by-the-sea).
(3) 5 minutes 58 seconds to fly back from fuselight (north-west of fuselight-by-the-sea and closet place with a flight master) to Light's Hope Chapel.
(4) 5 minutes 40 flying back with 310% speed flying mount with no additional speed buffs (like on a pale horse) and with about 10 second delay because I had to deviate from a perfectly straight line because if you take a perfectly straight line from the start to the end location, the player will hit an invisible wall off of the coast of the Arathi Highlands.

Note if you never turn in the quest you can go back and ride the rocket whenever you want which is not a bad idea
if you want to fly directly to Fuselight-by-the-sea instead of flying to fuselight first (using the flight master) and then riding
over to Fuselight-by-the-sea. The only good reason I can think to fly to fuselight-by-the-sea is because Buckslappy sells
some limited supply engineering schematics that you could resell if you wanted.

Also note for a Death Knight they can just summon a Death Gate and port back to Eastern Plaguelands instantly.

Do you need to do any quests in EPL before this one appears and if so, which? My 41 paladin has only done 1 EPL quest and is sitting at LHC right now and the NPC is nowhere to be seen.

Important note if you're queued in the dungeon finder: while on the rocket you can't teleport to dungeon. Keep this in mind as it's a 5 minute flight and if you join a group you will be placed in the dungeon party but will be unable to teleport to dungeon.

I got to Fuselight-by-the-Sea just fine via The Uncrashable. A goblin told me to use the teleporter to get to Fuselight, so I do. I end up at Lethlor Ravine, no where near Fuselight, and now I can't figure out how to get there.

The rocket can cause minor melee damage to those standing near it when it takes off.
I was walking up to the goblin to accept the quest myself, when a Worgen ahead of me took off and I saw I took 78 damage. I'm going to upload a screenshot for proof, but here is what was listed under "What happened to me?" in the Combat Log:
"Gobby Nozzlerocket Melee hit you 78 Physical."

It's still in my quest log as uncompleted.
even though i got the XP and $ for turn in. *sigh* yay bugs

*edit* And it being "completed" on a technicality, I can't abandon quest to clear up logs...

Conclusion SKIP THIS WORTHLESS QUEST.

If you are trying to sneak into the Badlands at a lower level for the Flame Warden achievment, forget about the rocket trip. You need to be 45. The only thing you can do is swim there. Bring your rubber ducky and a long movie.

once you take this quest dont go back to a main city until your done with the zone, the flight path goes all the way up to eastern plaguelands and back down to badlands if you fly from ironforge and its roughly 8-10 minutes long.

I can confirm than you NEED LEVEL 44 to see the NPC, the quest has no pre-requisits.
If your character is level 1-43 this NPC is invisible.

Don't queue for a dungeon while you're taking the flight out to Badlands. You won't be able to teleport into the dungeon until the lengthy flight is over. My dungeon group was rather disappointed by this mishap. Don't let it happen to you.

I tried looking for the teleporter several times as pointed on the comments above which is located at top of the hillside(east of the fuselight) which is the place with Demolists analysts mining.I tried a convo but none appeared;( so it was major pain in the ass.The teleporter is the box with satellite.Hope this helps:)

Gek Nozzlerocket will be invisible to you if you are on the quest "Argent Call: Northdale". Turn this quest in, and fly back to Light's Hope, then he will appear.

The Badlands of Khaz Modan was reworked for Cataclysm and now contains an epic quest chain along with a very humorous side quest chain.

The Rhea quest chain, if a further incentive is required, contains a cinematic at its conclusion. It is not to be missed.

The quest chain commences with Easily Swayed. Players need only fly directly to the top of Fuselight to pick up the quest. When the Going Gets Tough, Cheat will also be offered but can be ignored.

Several quests prior to that are offered, including faction city noticeboards and a fun rocket flight from the Eastern Plaguelands Fuselight, Ho!. They are unnecessary.

While flying around the optional A Dwarf's Got Needs (A) and The Morons' League (H) are available and can be ignored if you are in a hurry. Anyhow, you will be taken to the locations where these quests are offered if you progress in the Rhea quest chain.

Down to the Scar will be offered as you fly around. This is optional and functions merely to to get you to the location of Theldurin the Lost at location 26.2, 62.3, who offers The Day that Deathwing Came. This is a very funny quest chain and not to be missed. A great counterpoint to the epic Rhea saga.

If you find an instance group for a dungeon while flying the rocket and you accept, you will join the instance group but you won't join them in the dungeon, instead you will continue flying the rocket.
This is pretty annoying for the group since they will be missing one, so take note of this before searching for a dungeon while flying :P
