This one was odd as I walked up to the NPC and didn't get credit. Couldn't talk to her either. Eventually I just wandered around in front of her and got credit.

you gain "completed' if you walk 5 squares in front of her.

Make sure you walk through the door way with him. I flew in and dropped in the middle and i didn't get credit till i walked back out. :)

i got rid of this quest i think, and now i can't get flint back... can anyone help with that? i already went to the initiate again, there's no quest there to retrieve...

Still bugged ? I have tried all your suggestions none of them are working . Even abandonded and and picked up quest twice .
FACK I hate levelling alts lol.

Got quest on druid, flew in, wouldn't complete.
Abandoned quest, flew in again, still nothing.
Abandoned quest, ran from quest giver, ran around her, stepped on all the squares, still nothing.
Gave up, relogged, escort disappeared completely, growled in frustration, started to abandon quest again, quest completed.

When in doubt, relog, I guess.

As of 22/09/2021, patch 9.1:

Got there with the quest and couldn't trigger it. Abandoned quest, Flint Oremantle didn't despawn. Disconnected and logged in again. Grab the quest while dismounted, walk up to her, don't mount up. Triggers correctly.

Description

He still looks a little loopy to me. His head must still be ringing.

Best get him inside the temple and see what the Earthcaller wants to do with him.

I think I'm going to stay out here a little while longer and "observe" these rock flayers.
