around the area you'll find white sparkles moving around. Throw the gas bombs at them to reveal and fight the Alliance Spies.

You can also detect spies by the presence of butterfly knives in the backs of your allies, and by a sharp increase in the number of sapped sentries.

The friendly goblins and hobgoblins in the area may help you attack the spies. If you throw a bomb at a sparkle from a distance a spy might even attack the nearest goblin rather than you.

Throw the gas at the sparkly things around the camp. Best to go near the middle.

When I first got to the Sludgeworks, I could swear I kept hearing the sound a stealthed rogue makes. It was driving me crazy! Then, when I got this quest, I actually felt GLAD, because that means it wasn't just me.

If you are a hunter, using Track Hidden will help you find the mobs, so that you don't have to randomly run around looking for sparkles.

Seems you can ignore the elite Orbital Support Shredder that comes after a spy spawns and attacks a nearby friendly npc. The elite just stands there and does not fight anyway, and will soon become a corpse 30 yards up in the air where it dropped from.

An interesting bug for this quest. If you are fighting Alliance Spies and a Goblin Controller is near you, they will "assist" you. However, they will summon an Orbital Support Shredder that is piloted by a goblin but is hostile to horde for some reason. It wont attack the Goblin Controller or the Alliance Spy, just the player. Thought that was kind of funny/weird.

Description

We've got another problem, <name>. Alliance spies are all over the place! You haven't seen any? That's because they're invisible! Cloaked! I have a solution, but I need muscle like you to go out there and follow through with my plan.

Use this gas bomb on the cloaked spies and it will reveal them. Once revealed, send them back to their maker.

You'll know a cloaked spy by the effect they leave in the air. Look closely!
