When accepting this quest, your "pet" first comes out as hostile. DO NOT attack it. He will kill you. Instead, activate Dajik's Worn Chalk (http://www.wowhead.com/?item=38621) to dismiss him then activate it again. He will then come out as friendly.

Unlike Goregek the Gorilla Hunter, Dajik the Wasp Hunter is a good deal more amicable. He also doesn't seem to be quite as much of a slobbering moron as Goregek, lending credence to the idea that not all Wolvar are completely stupid. Instead of the pointless blustering and snarling that is characteristic of Goregek, Dajik tends to offer obvious but still marginally useful advice.

In combat, where Goregek was a meathead (melee), Dajik is a caster, specifically a healer. He has heals that heal for about 800-1100, and he uses it liberally, topping you off before, during, and after battle. He also has a little bit better damage output than Goregek. His aura, instead of healing him on your damage, restores HIS mana on YOUR damage.

You may want to consider knocking out a few other quests in the zone before turning this one in since Dajik will follow you around and heal you/help you kill stuff as long as you're "on" the quest.

As you do other quests in the Sholazar Basin you'll get other NPC helpers like this guy so don't hang on to the quest too long.

Also, he isn't usable outside of Sholazar Basin.

Attention Jewelcrafters!

If you intend to switch to the Oracles when the time comes, take advantage of your friendly reputation with the Frenzyheart now and buy the green pattern from the quartermaster (you should be friendly after turning in this quest). He is located next to the High Shaman at the village.

I completely reccomend that you not turn this quest in until the end if you are a non-healing class, such as a rogue, as he can help you on ANY of your other quests!

Kill 6 Sapphire Hive Wasps and 9 Sapphire Hive Drones for High-Shaman Rakjak in Frenzyheart Hill.

If you lose Dajik's Worn Chalk, speak to Elder Harkek in Frenzyheart Hill.

Description

Rakjak not dumb. Maybe you good at killing things. Maybe Frenzyheart can make you into real hunter.

Dajik hunts giant wasp things better than all wolvar. Go with Dajik to Sapphire Hive to southeast or to river in south and learn the hunt.
