Maybe you are horde, sardocius? This is an alliance quest only, I think.

The Horde equivalent has 2 mini-chains. The prerequisite is http://www.wowhead.com/?quest=10718 which leads to the main chain, http://www.wowhead.com/?quest=10749 .

Do not go straight to kill Dorgok in order to get the item to start this quest, without having the quest A Date with Dorgok in your Questlog, because I did that and it didn't let me acept the quest. It said: "You don't meet the requirements to do that quest", so I have to go back to Evergrove to speak with Commander Haephus Stonewall, get the quest, slain Dorgok again and turn in the quest before it let mi accept the quest from the item Gorgrom's Favor.

I have been trying to complete loremaster for days, and there were just a few quests left for outland which I couldn't find anywhere. I finally came across this quest. To begin the quest, you have to kill Dorgok; he will drop the item Gorgrom's Favor. You can find Dorgok at the top of the tower in a village at 55, 24. The entrance is up the ramp and in the back of the tower. This quest starts a quest line 9 long. Good luck!

I completed the pre req quest for the item to have dropped. (Note: i was also on the quest to slay him and got no item during the quest when killing him) No Dice grandma. I Currently have a ticket in to resolve the issue, I will post my findings as soon as I get them.

(1) If you haven’t received the item and killed him more then once, you have probably already done it.
(2) Its been reported by a GM that no quest any longer will tie on to being able to do that quest when it drops of Dorgok. (TRUE)
(3) There is nothing a GM can do about the item to reset the quest or something of the likes, don’t waste your time, you will just be told to submit a suggestion to have the eye patch put in game elsewhere.
(4) don’t waste your time killing him over and over, if it hasn’t dropped the first kill, its not going to. (68+) for me.
(5) I started to try and do this quest line for the eye patch, so if your reading this you are probably having the same problem. Submit a suggestion and if enough get to Blizz about this we might be able to see the eye patch elsewhere.

Description

A token in the form of a small statuette falls from Dorgok's dead clutch. It bears a striking resemblance to one of the gronn.

Surely, Commander Haephus Stonewall at Evergrove in the Ruuan Weald, up the ramp to the east, would be interested in this!
