Watch out to not chain pull Magisters. They cast nasty Scorches that hit for 600-800 dmg. Deal with one at time.

Just a heads up that you MUST have selected allegiance with Aldor at the Shattrath terrace of light before this quest is available to you.

If you visit the quest giver before doing so, no quests will be available.

If you are a shaman you can Purge a buff off the mobs in this area if they are affected by the Blood Crystals.

For the mages hit the right side as soon as you enter the compound, the bloodwarders are spread out or you can take them 2 at a time up the pathway leading into the large building.

Head down south until you see the Manaforge in front of you. There will now be three camps closeby.

The first one is inhabited by a named blood elf on a Hawkstrider, and is surrounded mainly by Bloodwarders. This camp is packed together fairly tightly, and the other two are perhaps better options.

Follow the path around the first camp and you will see the entrance into the Forge (don't go inside for this quest, the mobs you need are all outside). To the east and west of the entrance will be the other two camps.

The entrance, pathways and camp borders are all manned or patrolled by the Bloodwarders, and finding 8 should be no problem. They aren't very powerful, and are easily killed (they do enrage, but nothing to worry about).

The Magisters are mainly clustered around the two large Bloodcrystals in the middle of the camps. They have fairly potent magic abilities, and (as said) it's probably best to take them one at a time. They don't have much HP or armor though. If you're unlucky, and there's someone else in the area doing this quest, you may need to wait for some respawns for the Magisters, as there aren't as many of them as there are Bloodwarders.

A pretty nice bonus is that the Magisters have a fair chance to drop a crystal, that when used near one of the Bloodcrystals, will give you a 1 minute buff that increases you spell damage/healing by 5%.

1. Distraction at Manaforge B'naar
• Accept the quest, Distraction at Manaforge B'naar, from Exarch Orelis at coords 32.0, 64.2 (Area 52).
• Travel southwest to Manaforge B'naar.
• Kill 8 Sunfury Magister and 8 Sunfury Bloodwarder (located outside Manaforge B'naar).
• Travel northeast, back to Area 52, to coords 32.0, 64.2.
• Turn in the quest to Exarch Orelis.

Slay 8 Sunfury Magisters and 8 Sunfury Bloodwarders and return to Exarch Orelis at Area 52.

Completing quests for the Aldor will cause your Scryers reputation to decrease.

Description

We were sent here by the Sha'tar to investigate the manaforges that Kael'thas' army is operating here. Unfortunately, the Scryers threaten to renege on their information-gathering duties unless we support them with military action.

We can't afford to compromise this mission over politics, so we've agreed to weaken the manaforge's defenses so that the Scryers can do their work.

Prove your loyalty to the Aldor and slay the Sunfury magisters and bloodwarders that guard Manaforge B'naar.
