A long overdue and welcome change!
Long overdue!
people will still undercut, they never cared before if they'd both sell as high. Maybe charge a fee to undercutters to stop them?
Why?
I'd love to get an understanding on the decision to have auctions be last in first out at the same price point. Seems like Blizzard doesn't really want to encourage undercutting so much as frequently reposting. Is this another push by Blizzard to try to take gold out of the economy and up their user activity KPI?
Really looking forward to this. I've always hated buying trade commodities, and having to dig through page after page of people selling single item stacks. Like, who the hell is going to buy 1 ore at a time? Thank god this finally fixes that issue. Also interesting that they seem to be getting rid of undercutting as well, which should help keep prices a bit more stable.
looks similar to FF14's marketplace now (where it auto buys lowest and only 1 stack per item)no more need for AH addon!
Im a TSM4 user, and really don't care too much about this revamp, but..."There's no need to undercut! Auctions posted later (at the same price) are sold first."This is aweasome!
I hope in the future they add a “Want to Buy” list for the AH. The MMO Wildstar had this and I found it to be a great compliment with the regular functionality of the AH. Basically, a “Want to Buy” list would be where a buyer would place orders on the AH for stuff they wanted and how much they will pay.
Penalizing undercutters is a lame idea. Sometimes things get undercut because people are listing things for WAY too high.
Since transmog was added to the game, I have always desired the ability to filter out armor/weapons I already own the appearance of. I wish there was a checkbox that I could click so that when I search, it would only show me the gear which I haven't collected appearances for. It would be so much easier to add to my xmog collections that way. I was hoping when I saw the AH overhaul, I would see this option added.
is it me or they completely removed any BIDDING functions? It's straight-out buyout now, without any bids?
Last in first out is a weird take, and not just "here are the prices"Interested to see how this works out, but as for so far not a fan.
