The mobs you must kill for this achievement are the ones fought in the random two-part daily within the Hyjal zone.

Nemesis - (Punting Season / Echoes of Nemesis) - When Nemesis begins to erupt, run over to Tooga and hide under his protective shell.

Millagazor - (Call the Flock / Wings Aflame) - His special attacks will place patches of fire under you. Just keep moving as to not get popped in the air by them.

Lylagar - (Perfecting Your Howl / The Call of the Pack) - Simply move out of the way of his breath when he casts it.

Pyrachnis - (Those Bears Up There / Nature's Blessing) - Only use the Emerald provided to summon him, never to cleanse the stacking poison his attacks apply. Kill him quickly and it won't become a problem.

Galenges - (Between the Trees / The Power of Malorne) - After summoning him with the staff provided, a spirit of Malorne may appear and greatly weaken Galenges. All this one requires is heavy DPS so he dies before another Spirit comes.

These are all easy peasy as a mage. Pop images and gogo. Only timing one really is Nemesis, but if you can't see his long cast to get under the shield, well then you probably aren't smart enough to know what an achievement is either.

Galenges has 1.3m hp, but after the stag weakens him once, I was hitting him for like 400k, so don't let his health fool you, he drops like a ton of bricks.

Do pets being hit by Lylagar's breath count against you? First try with my spirit wolves didn't give me credit. Second try without them worked.

While you do not have to have summoned or tagged the mob first in order to get credit for the quest, you *do* need to summon it in order to get credit for the achievement.

EDIT: Confirmed it for all of these mobs. You do not have to be on their appropriate daily quests to work on this achievement. However, for some of them, first tag of the mob seems necessary. Of course, since they all have to be summoned, unless you're extremely lucky to find someone with a leftover daily for the particular mob you want to get credit for, you have to wait until they're the 'flavor of the day', and the questgiver hands out the appropriate quest to summon them.

Pyrachnis part of the achievement is incredibly easy to do if you have reliable interrupts or an immunity of some sort.

Pyrachnis seems to (rather logically) require you to leave the mob alive long enough to actually have his poison debuff cast on you from my experience. If he dies before he casts it, you will not get credit toward this achievement.

Over several kills today, I did not get credit - with or without the tap in my favor - until he actually cast the poison on me, specifically, so if you block it from being cast on you, it seems as if you will not get credit.

For Lylagar, the only way I was able to get credit for the achievement was to summon him myself. I tried for at least 5 minutes of constant summons from others to tag him and never got credit until I dropped the quest to be the one to summon him myself.

Edit: I'm still being told you need only tag him, however is it possible that if you already had credit for killing him without the tag you can no longer get the achievement? Seriously, I spammed a moonfire macro for 5 minutes, there's no way I wouldn't have gotten a single tag.

I was wondering, if on the Pyrachnis encounter you could use a cleanse other then the emerald Remove Corruption, or Cleanse or some such ability, without it negating the achievement.

Ive Found That Even if you summon him and you kill him if someone else whos not even in your party (or on same faction) gets hit then you loose the credit so try doing it during a quiett time

If you fail the Nemesis prerequisite but you still manage to kill Nemesis, you can abandon the quest, pick it back up from Mylune at the Sanctuary of Malorne, and attempt it again. I'm unsure if all the quests are like this, but they probably are.

Just thought I'd this useful bit of info out there...

ALL of these mobs required for the achievement are able to be re-summoned! Even if for some odd reason you are unable to re-summon one of them, just wait for someone else to summon it for their quest and do the requirements then on their npc. I believe however you have to be in combat with the mob for the majority of the time its up until it dies to get the achievement whether you tag it first or not.

Even if that fails, there's always the good 'ol abandon-and-reacquire tactic for quests and achievements like these!

One note about Galenges (might be helpful):
If you kill him during first weaken phase, you won't get credit for it. Stop dps and finish him after he grow in size again. Took 3 or 4 summons to find it out.

I've found that this chiev will bug if I don't summon the NPC, so I recommend that.

And if you fail, abandon the quest, go to the giver and start over.

When you try to kill Lylagar make sure that no one hits him. That was the only way that I was able to get credit. I had tried doing what everyone else said but it never worked until I was able to get him to myself.

After wading through vast amount of nonsense posted on here, I finally have a confirmed solution if you are stuck on this quest. When I got credit, it was only myself and another there, who also ran under the shell with me twice. The resolution to my troubles was most definitely to GET THE FIRST HIT ON THE NPC! If you do not, you should just give up while you're still ahead. I do not know anything pertaining to the posts above me, but I do know that this is a confirmed solution.

You do NOT get guaranteed credit by:

Summoning the boss
Getting aggro on the boss

Whether this method works for the other completions, I do not know. This, however, I did have the most trouble with.

Edit: I see I am being downrated already. So be it. If you wish to still believe these "summon the boss to win" scenarios, then forever live without the achievement. If you summoned the boss and got credit, then you happened to get lucky and coincidentally did everything else right.

my annoyance with this achievement is maddening. I keep getting the first hit and doing about 80% to 90% of the damage on these bosses then a pack of horde roll in, kill me then last hit it and I dont get any credit.

It took several tries to get credit for Nemesis, but the one time I did get credit:

I had the quest
I had already killed Nemesis in a previous attempt (already had "1/1 Nemesis slain" credit before starting this attempt)
I spoke to Tooga just before the little turtles summoned Nemesis
I took the first blow from Nemesis
Nemesis channeled an entire Molten Fury, while I hid below Tooga's shield
halfway through the fight, I lost aggro
I did not deliver the killing blow
My pet (demon) was on passive

While not sure which of the above is essential to get achievement credits, judging by what I read in similar posts and what was different for me on this one try:
- it seems the critical bit is that you have to be the first one to aggro or get hit by Nemesis.
(and don't get hit by his Molten Fury ofcourse)

Here's a great way to do it easily, if you want it that bad as i needed it for my last one for Millagazor. Get full agroo and the best thing to do is have some sort of speed boost, i always carry speed potions just incase even though i have Darkflight and Cat form sprint, i easily dodged The Clout, special ability he uses which you need to avoid for the achievement. But this is if you really want to get it done since everyday you get different dailies and you don't know if your going to get this one.

For any shaman with an instant ghost wolf: Millagazor is easy to get if you summon, use Flame Shock, Ghost Wolf, hang around just long enough to ensure aggro, then run away. This is easiest when there are other people there willing to finish it off for you, but not necessary with a bit of help from a Searing Totem. You can keep re-applying Flame Shock and maybe even get off another offensive spell or two if need be; and don't forget your best friend the Earth Elemental.

I can confirm that if you have this quest and you attack Llygar after someone else has already hit him first, you MUST abandon the quest and start again in order to get the achievement. Even if you start the fight anew and kill him yourself, it will NOT count for your achievement if you already fought him once when someone else initiated the fight unless you abandon and re-get the quest.

Be aware that you will fail the Lylagar portion of this achievement simply by gaining the Lylagar Breath Debuff even if you don't actually take damage from it.
Today, he cast it at me in front of him and I ran straight forward through him to avoid it. The debuff was applied momentarily, but I moved out of the damage area before the first tick and I didn't get credit.

I find Millagazor kinda tricky.
I'm a cat druid, so there are no pets and no ranged attacks.
unlike the other 4 bosses his special attacks are instantly. and his hitbox is indeed tiny.

I can kill him with ease, solo, but getting the achie is kind of a trial.

The fights against Galenges and Pyrachnis are not much of a problem with bloodlust/heroism (providing you are dps specced). If you don't need to be solo to get achievement credit, you could ask somebody to use it just before the fight starts. Just in case, that person shouldn't partake in the fight itself.

I am having real problems with Lylagar... He is the only one I need now, and I have defeated him about 30 times so far and not once been hit by his breath but it still won't give me the ach ? I don't know whats going wrong ?

Tip for Mage:
Don't use mirror image for Nemesis. I guess all the summoned stuff will probably be identical.

As of now I am summoning him for the 8th time. I summoned him 7/8 times stood out of his breath 6/8 times and still no achievement. I know you do not have to abandon quest as i have killed others for the cheevo this way too. I am not sure wt heck is going on. I just reloaded UI....Nothings still 3 more times and still no cheevo.....I think i will go play panda bears with my kids now.

WOOOOT! Ok So this is how mine went down. I invited my wife to join group. Started killing him and of course someone else came in and gave it a couple shots ( felguard/lock) and i was like greeeeat. Then *Ding* got the cheevo...so you tell me? GROUP? or Group and Someone helping.

TRY FORMING A GROUP. Thanks for all the insight folks!

Remember, If you fail on doing the needed fight on these achievement you could abandon your quest and do it all over again.

Just found an easy method for a mage on the Lylagar fight: summon the three stooges, run to back of boss and let him have it :)

For classes with pets there is an easier way for Nemesis:

You can stay at the western edge (at the Tooga spawn point), send your pet and when Nemesis starts to cast Molten Fury, jump in the water! When the spell wears off you can jump on the shore and resume dps.
Even works if you are closer, haven't tested it in melee range though.

Edit: this doesn't work at closer range.

For the lylagar step, if you are a melee class like me (prot paladin) simply keep moving to his back, the hole fight, did the trick for me, at first serious try (killed him before for the daily quest, but didn't bother with achievement)

For avoiding Lylagar's breath, when you see him starting to cast his fire breath (sparks in his mouth + crackling sounds), just run through his body to his other side. He will stay faced forward while you stand behind him, and breathe fire in front of him. Just wait until he finishes and then go back to his front, repeat.

I didn't see the following mentioned anywhere; forgive me if I missed it. I realize Cataclysm content is old news right now, but if you happen to be a mage, like myself, trying to get Infernal Ambassadors, this may be helpful to you.

The achievement only says "Defeat Millagazor without taking damage from Gout of Flame," but it really means "don't get hit by Gout of Flame at all." My Ice Barrier never went down, absorbing all of Gout of Flame's damage and more, but it still did not give me credit for the achievement. So, I don't think "damage" is the operative word here--any spell or skill or talent that absorbs damage might not help in this case. As mentioned earlier, you have to completely avoid the spell.

Warning : if you plan to get this achiev with a level 100 character: as you one-shot these mobs nowadays, all criteria are just automatically won, except for the Galenges part. If you kill him as soon as he pops, it won't get validated. The achiev says "kill him before he is weakened a *second time*". i.e., he has to get weakened at least once.

So you must wait that the Spirit of Malorne who joins the fighht, debuffs him once ; it takes 5-10 secs or so, just stand there and don't DPS. When the debuff has been applied, then you can proceed on one-shotting Galenges and you will get the achiev criteria validated.
