Mragesh - underwater (tloc 42,41)

Be sure to fight him on land, there are many frenzy fish in the area. Mragesh is a Black/Drk Brown hydra with an orange underbelly. Besides melee he has a frostbolt attack. I'm ot sure if it stacks but I know it slows you movement speed like a normal forstbolt. Not a very difficult mob to kill in my opinion.

Right at 42,41, beside a little island under the water. While swimming you'll aggro about 4 - 6 of the frenzy's, all you gotta do is hop up outta the water and kill Mragresh standing on the island. He is very easy non-elite lvl 64.
If you don't have coords, just look at your map, where it says Serpent Lake, you should be standing at the island where the L in lake is and that's where Mragresh is. =D easy quest

You really don't have to fight him on land if you don't want to. If you are a mage just AOE some of the groups of mudfin frenzies before you go after Mragresh. It gives you xp and then it will be easier to just target him.

As a 63 warrior I just went to berserker stance and killed the frenzy and him all at once. YOU DON'T NEED A GROUP AT ALL!!!

As a lvl 63 mage this was easy as pie. All I had to do was stand on the land and shoot at him below the water. I used Frost Ward to fend off his shots and he died easily. I didn't bother loot the corpse because I was too lazy.

63 Draeni shaman, didn't aggro frenzies or have any troubles what so ever. Just attacked and silenced his frostbolts.

If you do not do this quest, you get free Potion of Water Breathing with 3 charges every time you accept this quest.

This guy is pathetically easy

Arcane power + Pyro + Pom + Pyro = dead. Took 15 seconds, and that included the swim to and from his location.

BE AWARE of Mudfin Frenzys! They are the equivalent to piranhas, and they will swarm all over you. Be sure to Track Beasts if you are a Hunter. If not, be leery before stepping into the water to look for this guy. Best advice I can give to avoid being fish food -- when you get to the tip of that small island, just under the "L" in Serpent Lake, tab and you should immediately be targeting Mragesh. Lure him out with a ranged weapon (or just go up and hit him once), and then get back on the island before the fishies come and attack. That way, you only have to deal with Mragesh.

If you already have a water breathing potion from the other quests which is partially used, destroy the potion before picking up the quest (Or abandon, destroy potion and pickup quest). If you don't destroy your original potion then you want get the uses refreshes etc.

This mob is actually really easy to kill for most classes at lvl 65 or higher, as long as you don't have to deal with the stupid fish at the same time.

Nothing special to it, other than a frost bolt that slows you down a little.

After patch 3.0.2, only affliction locks and shadow priests should have to struggle with the killing.

1. Maktu's Revenge
• Accept the quest, Maktu's Revenge, from Maktu at coords 41.6, 27.4 (Orebor Harborage).
• Travel south to coords 42.0, 41.4.
• Kill Mragesh.
• Travel north to coords 41.6, 27.4.
• Turn in the quest to Maktu.

This guy has a fairly long respawn timer, so if he's gone, just hang out underwater and wait.

Description

Last time Maktu was out hunting hydras for hides at Serpent Lake, he was attacked by the biggest hydra he's ever seen. Maktu reached for his spear, but it was too late. He had just enough time to escape becoming hydra food.

Who knows? Maybe next time, Maktu not be so lucky. Maktu wants to be there so there won't be a next time. Will you help Maktu get his revenge on Mragesh?
