There's a small pond just southeast of Garadar that has these stags roaming around it. You can circle this lake continuously until you get your 30 kills without stopping. You'll also find the occassional Windroc and Clefthoof, which are quest mobs for quests that you can pick up at the Nesingwary camp as well.

The pond is at 61,43. Watch out that you are not killing the Talbuk Thorngrazers, the stags are at the pond but the thorngrazers are close by and look the same.

The pond at 62, 68 just south of the Ring of Trials is also a great place to find these.

10 of them all close around the pond, and 3 more about 10 yards up the hill. Ezy Aoe for mages.

Also do at same time as The Tortured Earth Quest.

There are plenty of talbuks directly to the northeast of the camp, and they respawn quickly. I was able to complete the quest without even having to leave that area.

There are quite a few right around 62,48 with a fast respawn rate, but around the pond to the north is a surplus as well.

The best place to find them is at 61,43.

It is a small pond, surrounded by nothing but the Talbuk Stags.

555 x 30 = 16650

16650 + 11000 = 27650

27650 x 3 (theres 2 others quests similar to this) = 82950

and theres also 2 parts of a chain to each of these quests

Pretty straight forward quest go to pond near Gartuk on map easy easy easy grinding

As of patch 3.1 the number you need to kill has been reduced to 12. I would assume this holds true for all the others as well.

Everyone is talking about the pool, coords are 61,43 or 61.66,43.36 for exact coords. Enjoy.

Didn't this quest used to be you had to kill 30 of each in each set. There was a lot more xp back then . . .

Watch out for Clefthoof Bull that will attack if you get near. If you die near the small pool mentioned above, it's a bit of a run back to your corpse.

It was a 30 mobs slay quest, now it's just 12, and 3 talbuks attacked me with no reason...
Are they taking their revenge or WoW has problem with WWF?

I don't think that I'm up to the hunt today. Do you think that you might take my place?

I told Hemet that I was going to see about bagging us some of those talbuk that seem to be all over the place. The stags are especially nice to hunt. You can find them congregated around the nearby trees.
