Quest says he's checking in alliance ship and current alpha build doesn't show where on map to go either. He is NOT checking in alliance ship. He's in fact near the tavern/mission board

As you picked the quest, take east direction till you got to the railing.
Turn left and jump them over, there you'll see a passage, make you way through.
After a short cutscene follow Cyrus and turn in the quest.

If you go AFk and she disappears, wander around the Tradewinds Market area of Boralus Harbour, near the fight master, until she reappears.

To get to the harbour master's office, turn with the flight master behind you, walk to the barrier & take the stairs to the left. Take the right-hand stairs down and the office is ahead of you to the right. Go inside and down the stairs to the cut scene.

2. The Battle for Lordaeron	Master Mathias Shaw - Speak with Captain Angelica to start scenario Battle for Lordaeron - that will be done in raid group ( 20 ppl ) and is taking around 20-25 min. Durning scenario you will see videos as well.	Halford Wyrmbane
3. A Dying World	Halford Wyrmbane - Fly to Silithus you can use teleport in Stormwind City to Uldum to get there faster.	Magni Bronzebeard

If you're on the first part of the Kul Tiran allied race quest, Cyrus won't show up to hand in this quest until you abandon it.

Probably not the most common occurrence, but definitely an issue if you've just race changed to Alliance and have to redo all the campaign quests again.

Cyrus tells a nice story but it'd be nice to be able to skip it on alts rather than hear it for the tenth time...

If you can´t see Taelia after you listened to Cyrus like me after you Changed your Faction here is how i managed to "Spawn" her.
First you have to do all the Quests from Magni (follow him to Nazmir and Help MOTHER!).
After that you should be able to see her walking into the Cellar with Cyrus and you.

I read somewhere in the Forums that they prioritise the Legendary Cloak Quest or something.

This quest seems to be bugged if you do a faction changed. Everytime I start this quest Greymane and Taelia phase out. I can still shake hands with Cyrus and hear his story but once it ends I can not complete the quest becuase Taelia is phased.

The only fix I found for this is to invite a friend who has completed the bfa intro quests and do a party sync. This seems to have fixed the issue for me, hope this helps anyone else having the same problem.

This was my first time playing Alliance. Had the bug where Taelia would disappear and you wouldn't be able to turn in. I tried all the other methods that people suggested and none worked for me. I had to complete the Kul Tiran allied race quest line first in order for her to not disappear. Hope this helps.

Common Problems with this quest:

Cannot turn in The Old Knight quest due to Cyrus or Taelia not being visible.
Solutions:
1 - If you are on the questline to unlock the Kul Tiran allied race, complete the questline.
2 - If you are not on the Kul Tiran unlock questline, abandon The Old Knight and pick it up again.
3 - If you have not yet done so, complete the quest An Explosive Entrance, offered by Flint Fairwind in the Harbormaster's Office

Note: For higher level characters, it will be necessary to enable Trivial Quest tracking on your minimap to see the quests

I couldn't turn this quest in on one of my toons because Taelia would phase out after walking down the stairs.

I tried logging out/in, waiting around, coming back after being out of zone... nothing worked and I just gave up on doing anything in the Broken Isles on that toon for months.

I came back here recently and I was not able to find/see the quest for An Explosive Entrance and was just about to give up once again but noticed I had a turn-in waiting for the quest The Master Shipwright up in Stormsong Valley. I flew up, turned it in, flew back to Boralus and bam... there's Taelia phased correctly and I was finally able to turn this stupid quest in and the next campaign quests became available. So annoying... not a fan of phasing lol...

If you can't turn in the quest, try completing this first: The Master Shipwright
I also dropped all the allied race quests I had pending just in case.
After I completed The Master Shipwright, Taelia was no longer phased and I was able to turn in the quest just fine.

Description

These days Cyrus is the Harbormaster, but he used to be one of Daelin Proudmoore's most trusted knights! I lost my mother when the Scourge hit Lordaeron. My father sent me here to be raised away from the war. I don't know much about him... just that he was a Stormwind knight who gave his life fighting the Lich King. Daelin hand-picked Cyrus to raise me and forced him to take a desk job. It's the only reason he wasn't at Theramore. He's probably checking in that other Alliance ship. Let's go!
