Travel to Mount Hyjal and fly to the Shrine of Aviana, there's a scenario starts.
First, find Skylord Shadegrove, he's inside the house under the staris. As you done slay demons to fill up the counter.
Unfortunally, Skylord Shadegrove is a traitor, he'll steal the Idol and teleport away. Get back to the Dreamgrove.

Quest Hand-in is located INSIDE the dreamgrove; not the portal area. There's a small path behind the north western moonwell to take you there if you cannot fly. Do not bother going inside the barrows den it's not in there.

Quest line for the class mount starts at Grovewarden Proudhorn on Broken Shore after completing Breaching the Tomb with a Druid.

Talon's Call - use Dreamwalk and visit your order hall
Defense of Aviana - leave your order hall and use the eastern portal to Hyjal, flight path Shrine of Aviana). Talk to Skylord Shadegrove and kill demons to fill the bar. After that, enter the building and use your Dreamwalk again.
There is a small path beyond the moonwell in the northwest of the map. Find Thisalee Crow.
You Can't Take the Sky from Me - fly to Azsuna (Challian's Terrace or Azurewing Repose) and the marked quest area. You'll get phased into a scenario.
- find Thisalee Crow
- use Cat Form, Prowl and go to /way 43.07 22.98
- kill the attacking enemies to fill the bar
- run up the hill (43.0 24.0) and let the Lunarwing Owl transport you to the ship
- kill demons and Infazzar the Shade. You can use Thornstalk Barbs on him
- return to your order hall

Archdruid's Lunarwing Form will be added to your spell book automatically after turning in the quest, it replaces your Travel Form.
This class mount changes your flight form's appearance. Its color depends on your race:

Night elf : black
Tauren: brown
Troll: red
Worgen: white

If you don't like it, you can turn it off (and on again) at Skycaller Faeb in your order hall:

In the last phase you can stealth past the harpies and kill the demon yourself, leaving Thisalee to her doom.

I hate that damned NPC. :D

Note for people who are bugged out on any part of this quest (or possibly any class mount scenario) that it seems you can reset the scenario by resetting your instances and it will reset your progress as zoning out /logging out will just keep you at the same point unable to progress.

Zone out, reset all instances, start again. Easy :D

Like many scenarios, make sure you set aside enough time (more than you might think) to finish this scenario plus another 10 - 15% just in case the servers are in hiccup mode. If you get disconnected for as much as an instant (duration of an instant varies), you get to start the whole thing over again. The Time-Constrained Player didn't even try this one; life is too short. I don't mind the length as much as the repetition - lots of same old same old. Reminds one of the Wintersaber grind in Vanilla. Endless.

For those that maybe can't see the quest hand-in back at Dreamgrove after doing the shrine defense, the hand-in is in the top left of the Dreamgrove map - the marker might be appearing on the banner, but Thistalee should be there at the moonwell.

Never seen anything as nonsensical as us losing our flight forms just because we don't have some idol I have never seen before in my life.

Druids have never gained their powers through magical foci. This is ridiculous.

Doing these quests in BFA, I couldn't use the Dreamwalk ability at the end of the scenario, even though the quest specifically asks to do so... since it wasn't mentionned in previous comments, it would seem to be either a bug or a BFA change.

If you're doing this in BFA, at the time i'm writing this you wont be able to use your dreamway teleport like it asks you to at the end of the scenario. However, if you run out of the area near the shrine, it'll remove you from the scenario and put you back into regular hyjal with your quest ready for turn-in, and you can use your teleport then.

So we first lose Ysera in a horrible way earlier, and then we just surrender the shrine of Aviana because some no-name NPC betrayed us with no set-up whatsoever? This is Mt Hyjal, for crying out loud. Then we lose our wings because an idol is taken AND we retreat even further in Val'shara? Bleugh, wtf.

Cannot complete this quest as of Shadowlands prepatch. Thisalee Crow is not appearing at the turn in location after completing the scenario and the quest is a gray question mark on her in the center of the Dreamgrove. Log still shows as "0/1 Help Defend the Shrine of Aviana" despite having completed the scenario and being told to return to the Dreamgrove. I've abandoned and reset instances 3 times now.

Okay, so I'm doing this quest December 2020, and it's only half-bugged.

1. Run around and kill stuff.
2. Talk to the druid indicated by a dot in the shrine itself.
3. Be confused as conversation plays out with characters you can't see, though their talk-boxes show up on screen.
4. Somehow complete the scenario by existing?
5. Then you have to RUN OUT of the shrine before you can teleport to the Dreamgrove. It's not far to go.

Done! (Hey, it got me the flight form, and that's what I was after.)

as of 3/1/22 this quest after the scenario gets to the final stage and you are asked to teleport out, I click Dreamwalk to get the to dreamway and it does not work. Is this a known bug?

Description

The situation is dire. The Legion is attacking the Shrine of Aviana in Hyjal, AGAIN! They must be after something specific, but I'm not sure what. Us Druids of the Talon are skilled scouts and infiltrators, but are lacking in... durability. They won't be able to hold out for long! We must go to help!
