I can confirm from my own experience that if you complete the initial 4/4 world quests (invasion points) and turn in the quest to Prince Farondis at Shackle's Den to unlock the daily quest line he provides and then wait past the time of the invasion, the next quests, and the one you were currently on, to complete the invasion will not be able to be finished. I completed as such and logged off for work before I was able to complete the full quest line for the invasion. I came back online to find I couldn't complete it. Thought it was an interesting side note if anyone was ever curious. I assume this will also apply to all other invasion areas.

Where is this quest handed-in. No indication in the quest log, no indication on the map. There is being obtuse, and getting players to work for things, and then there is this sort of nonsense!

Step by step how this scenario is going:

- Part 1: Assault on Highmountain when you will get to Highmountain you will start this quest, in this part you need to finish any 4 World Quests.

- Part 2: After you finish first part you will need to fly to Lasan Skyhorn to start next quest Holding Our Ground. Last part of this quest is to slain Incinerator Vythe.

- Part 3: Fly to Lasan Skyhorn is not far from Incinerator Vythe look on map. You will start Battle for Highmountain and you will enter to scenario:

Stage 1: Securing Thunder Totem - Kill Legion to 100%
Stage 2: Base Defense - Use Lift and go down to next stage
Stage 3: Incoming! - Defend 2 Legion waves
Stage 4: Last Defense - Defeat Fel Champion Gargath - will come after you defend 2nd wave
Stage 5: Regroup - Escort Mayla
Stage 6: To the Ship! - You will fly to Legion Ship
Stage 7: Free our people - Rescue Rivermane Tauren
Stage 8: Destroyed from within - Set 5 Explosive materials
Stage 9: The final fight - Use portal to teleport and eliminate Fel Commander
Final Stage - Time to Go - Use Eagle to finish scenario and Last quest

For those of you leveling and are about to hit 110, if you hit 110 with less than 4 of the invasions left, you will not be able to complete this quest and will forfeit the 110 part of it until the next invasion.

LEGION ASSAULTS AND FINAL BOSSES
The bosses appear to share the same loot table.

WEAPON DROPS
Your spec doesn't appear to matter. As long as your class can equip the weapon, you have a LOW chance of receiving it.
Some of these weapons may have been a reward from the pre-Legion invasions on Azeroth?

GEAR DROPS (TRANSMOG APPEARANCE)
Pieces of the following sets have a chance to drop from the final Legion assault boss.
These pieces can also drop from individual invasion world quests.

I already did all of the other 3 assaults MANY times, but this doesn't seem to go live. Is the server bugged or the chances for legion to attack Highmountain is like 0.1% compared to the other regions? Already checked in every day for 15 days now. :(

What are the requirements for the first part of the assault? I was told it was a good way to level, but when I logged to my 102 character, the invasion showed on the map, but the quest never triggered (or replaced the normal world quests in the zone).

I've already filed a ticket with Blizzard about assaults being buggy, but they were not at all helpful.

Enter scenario, get thrown off bird to start the event... Stuck running in mid-air. Several times I've attempted to do this and end up the same way, every time, anyone know of a fix for this? Only seems to happen on my Tauren.

My instance was bugged in Stage 5. When the bad guy pops up in the center of the platform, you need to make sure he is done talking before you defeat him. I had to start the instance 4 times before I finally figured it out. If you kill him too fast, Mayla gets stuck, and you can't escort her outside. Mayla will say something like "Heroes, attack him!", then he says a couple things. Just hang back and let her soldiers attack some until you are sure he is done talking. Unfortunately I didn't have a "leave instance" option, so I'm glad I figured it out. Hopefully this helps someone else :)

It's broken, can't get past stage 5

My only real issue with all this is that it's like pulling teeth to level through Respected to get to Exalted. You can only level via World Quests in Highmountain and the Reputation points are not all that high, so it's pretty much a 2-3 week process depending on how often you play. Sometimes I'm every day, sometimes not. Not that the World Quests are hard after the first couple of tours, it's just tedious.

What is wrong with the Legion assaults? I completed Battle For Azsuna, only to be unable to find the Prince to turn in the final quest. I’ve now abandoned Battle For Highmountain because it’s impossible to interact with Mayla at stage 5.

Do any of the Legion assaults actually work, or should I give up on the whole idea?
