A way to bypass any fighting is:
- to stay mounted and ...
a) manoeuver through all detecting NPCs forth and back without getting revealed
b) should you drop your illusion, run 15 yards past Aurore and drop into the little "garden" right behind her and stay close to the bigger front wall to LOS the casters.... NPCs wont follow you into it as there is "no path available"; they will reset after a few seconds and you should be able to get up after a few tries again.

What I did was to jump from the vineyards and glide down with a goblin glider. Super quick and easy.

For those wanting access point...take the stairs at moonbeam causeway 53.5 x 58.7 straight up... straight across courtyard/circular bar up the next set of stairs and she's top left.

This is kind of a dumb quest design. The amount of guards that can see through your disguise in this area is very large, and many of them are elites. So that indicates that you're supposed to stay away from that area. Then they give you a quest telling you to go to the area you've been warned away from. Maybe they'll send us to GM Island next.

As monk you can easily go up the main stairs by using Paralysis on the guards while moving past them one by one.
There is just one mechanical guard at the foot of the stairs and you can get past him by mounting and simply riding through him before he detects you.

This is some of the worst quest design I have seen. No matter how you get to Lady Aurore, the follow up quest for her and simply even moving around her is almost certain death as it's a densely packed area of elite mobs almost all with the ability to see through your camouflage.

Even with 830+ gear AND my bodyguard, these mobs hit like a truck and swarm you.

My suggestion is to do this in a group of 4-5 with a tank and heals or do what I did and die often only to revive and run as far as I could before they killed me again....repeat.

212g repair bill but at least it's done.

So this quest is a pain to get to the objective, I'm sure you've attempted and possibly failed once or twice and now you're just trying to figure this out. Here's essentially the easiest way possible to do this quest. It will cost a bit of money unless you have a toon with Engineering skill to make a Goblin Glider Kit, but it's worth it, I tried most every other method and this will just save you a ton of headaches and time.

#1 get yourself a Goblin Glider Kit.
#2 Use Twilight Vineyards portal
#3 Masquerade up
#4 Make your way to about /way Suramar: 57.5 56.28
Be aware that in attempting to get to this location that you might lose you disguise. There are moths and a few guards that can discover you.
#5 Get up on the wall there and make your best guess to aim to the platform below. There are a few platforms, the one you are looking to land on is the one with the small purple tree
#6 Be aware the Goblin Glider Kit takes about 0.5 seconds to open and start slowing your decent. Jump down and use the Goblin Glider Kit.

Note: If you are a Paladin class or have other types of bubble spells or options you can just jump down and time it right. This is another option than the Goblin Glider.

I like the guards that are right next to her, so you can't actually talk to her without getting attacked. Nice job, blizz. You really know what you're doing.

The way I finally got to her, as a Mage with Slow Fall, was to go to the flight point to the east of the city, follow the road back to the city (remember to put your mask on), then dropped in from above, right on top of her. With a glider it might be tricky, and even Slow Fall you have to remember not to carry momentum into the jump or you'll overshoot. There's a ledge about halfway, you might be able to hop there, and then the rest of the way, for anyone without a slow-fall ability (glider, Slow Fall, Levitate, etc.). Drop, heal, drop again.

Once there you can run right out past the guards, work your way around them and past before they drop your disguise. Rescue son, return the same way, all done.

Especially if you've ever played a stealth game, this is really easy on a mount. There's no need for goblin gliders or other fancy tricks.

Just be a little patient and watch for gaps in the patrols; i.e. run on nearly the opposite side of the central causeway as the pats. This means you'll be basically zig-zagging back and forth until you get to the staircase. Give the demon an extra wide berth.

Stay on a mount the whole time. Why? Because if you accidentally dip into the edge of a guard's disguise detection spell, you can easily dart out.

For the mechanical on the staircase, you're just going to have to run past it on your mount. You'll get through its detection spell before it goes off.

Go to the top near the Vintner world quest (make arcwine) and using a slow-fall consumable or ability, drop off the edge at 57, 56 and keep as close to the wall as possible. The quest NPC is below you among those Courtly Nobles. If done correctly, this will get you to Aurore without battle.

Don't forget to loot the arcwine on the table for 117 mana. Every little bit helps if you're on With Us or Against us . I'm constantly porting back and forth, using my hearth in Shal'Aran and the various portals, to get to the best access points and avoid the mobs that can detect my disguise.

You can get to her without fighting by using a Goblin Glider Kit from a nearby high bridge. You can get up to the bridge via a portal. The portal is located at ground level inside a tower at /way Suramar 50.00, 60.50 Entry to portal. The portal will teleport you up to the bridge. Then do the following: (1) Jump up on the ledge of the bridge to your right side, (2) Move to the highest point of the ledge, (3) Mount up, and (4) Use a Goblin Glider Kit to safely glide to her.

This quest is so broken ==

After dying a countless number of times trying to get in without breaking the disguise (this is of course impossible, there are far too many elites around to achieve this) I figured what they Hell, and just ran through, pssed the stupid NPC and onto the bit of greenery behind her.

Fun fact: NPcs are pretty stupid. They won't follow you into some areas of the city (like into the canals, or in greenbelts) and will give up, and return to where they were aggro'ed after a short while.

From here, they 8 million or so elites I'd aggro'd retreated, leaving me hiding behind a small shelf (LoS works both ways sometimes) where I could reapply the disguise and talk to the !@#$%.

1) Get naked
2) Run through
3) Keep dying until you make it to her. That way you don't damage your gear

"Safe" points:

run between the 4 guards at the stairs and stop at entrance:
/way 54.17 58.34
(input with decimal places for sweet spot!)
to observe patrols further inside and wait for ur turn. be careful of patrol on the right. center of the Square, is a Bar, that is your next safe point. i ran straight, but used the left path behind the Legion Battlematron, and keep left to stay away from Chronarch Defender.

Another sweet spot; the Bar:
/way 56 57

2nd Chronarch Defender in front of stair. run via the right side.

(in case: i did try a few times to find the sweet spots. you can stay in the sweet spot forever.. but my exit route is always the canals outside, dunk myself right in. I was using my Druid, so just need to swim far enough. And SWIMMING is the way in Suramar. ya.. can't fly yet.. :P)

Did someone mentioned you have to turn in the quest to Aurore as well? :D

Amusing (not) all these comments about doing this quest on the ground and not one mentions Ward of the First Arcanist from Thalyssra and the benefits it confers while on this and other quests.
