This quest will teach the recipe to craft Steamy Romance Novel Kit, a new Toy in Legion. The Toy will not require Inscription to use.

This Toy will not be soulbound, and can be sold on the Auction House. It will likely be a good source of revenue for Scribes!

<The story is started, but unfinished.>

The ever-eloquent Lord Gravesbane stepped into the royal chamber. Before him stood the draenei princess, widely-known for her beauty, grace, and biting wit.

He greeted the bejeweld princess with his most reliable compliment.

<The next line is blank. What might Lord Gravesbane have said?>

---"You look as beautiful as the two moons of Azeroth." (Go to page 2)
---"I think you're cute." (Go to page 3)
---"I'm hoping for some epic pants drops tonight." (Go to page 4)

Page 2:
"You look as beautiful as the two moons of Azeroth."

The faintest suggestion of a smile appeared on the edge of the blue-skinned monarch's mouth. She quickly suppressed it, lest Lord Gravesbane discover her true feelings. She replied quickly:

---"I am immune to your charms, outsider. Flattery will get you nowhere." (Go to page 5)
---"That's a big sword you have there. Are you sure you know how to wield it?" (Go to page 6)
---"Is that a gnome in your legplates, or is that two gnomes in your legplates?" (Go to page 7)

Page 3:
"I think you're cute."

The princess continued watching Lord Gravesbane's mouth, as if she expected more compliment to come out. As time wore on, it became clear that his utterance was indeed limited to only four words.

Once she fully realized it was her turn to speak, she replied...

---"I'll bet you say that to every princess you meet." (Go to page 8)
---"Simply 'cute'? You'll have to do better than that, Lord Gravesbane." (Go to page 9)
---"Well, I think you're terribly unclever!" (Go to page 10)

Page 4:
"I'm hoping for some epic pants drops tonight."

A wave of confusion washed over the princess's face as the full force of this statement hit her square on. A murmur arose among her court. Lord Gravesbane heard weapons being drawn.

The princess's eyebrows furrowed, and she said...

---"Pants? Here in my court, we simply wear robes and shoulderpads." (Go to page 11)
---"Why would you say such a stupid thing to me?" (Go to page 12)
---"You insolent buffoon! I should have your head for this!" (Go to page 13)

"I am immune to your charms, outsider. Flattery will get you nowhere."

Lord Gravesbane held the princess's icy glare for one, two, three agonizing seconds, before replying...

---"Why do I suspect that 'nowhere' is the name of your majesty's private bedchamber?" (Go to page 15)
---"OK, bye." (Go to page 14)

"That's a big sword you have there. Are you sure you know how to wield it?"

Lord Gravesbane shifted his eyes towards his trousers, then back up at the regal draenei. Matching her hidden half-smile, he replied...

---"Yes, I'm good at swords. This is a two-handed sword. I bought it at the sword store." (Go to page 14)
---"Yes, my princess, and it's led me to countless treasures. In fact, I'm hoping for some epic pants drops tonight." (Go to page 4)

"Is that a gnome in your legplates, or is that two gnomes in your legplates?"

Lord Gravesbane stumbled backwards, clearly caught off-guard by the directness of the princess's question. He quickly re-gathered his wits and replied...

---"Alas, your majesty, it is but one gnome - although he does know some magic spells..." (Go to page 15)
---"Alright, you caught me. I'll let them out now." (Go to page 14)

Page 8:
"I'll bet you say that to every princess you meet."

Lord Gravesbane could see her for what she really was now: yes, she was the ruler of an unbeatable warrior nation... but she was also a girl, still trembling under the terrible weight of the crown. He replied...

---"Yes, I say it to nearly every woman I meet. I define my self-worth solely by the quantity of my romantic partners." (Go to page 14)
---"No, your majesty. Only to the ones with eyes like sapphires." (Go to page 15)

"Simply 'cute'? You'll have to do better than that, Lord Gravesbane."

Lord Gravesbane frowned. "Perhaps I'm simply having an off day", he thought, clearly disappointed with his game.

---"Like, REALLY cute." (Go to page 14)

Page 10:
"Well, I think you're terribly unclever!"

The azure-skinned princess put on quite a show of being offended. So much, in fact, that it was clear to Lord Gravesbane that she was bluffing. He saw his chance.

---"So... do you come here often? How about this weather?" (Go to page 14)
---"Who needs cleverness when you look like THIS?" <flex> (Go to page 15)

Page 11:
"Pants? Here in my court, we simply wear robes and shoulderpads."

Lord Gravesbane surveyed the throne room chamber, and indeed, every single member of the princess's court was donned in long, flowing robes, and decorated with large crystalline shoulderpads. Not a single pant was in sight. He replied...

---"I would settle for a robe drop, I suppose... but your majesty should definitely keep the shoulderpads ON." (Go to page 15)
---"Darn! I really wanted pants." (Go to page 14)

Page 12:
"Why would you say such a stupid thing to me?"

Lord Gravesbane had been called many things before: foul, lecherous, repugnant, perverted, and occasionally even troggish, but never "stupid". This was new. He replied...

---"Umm... duhhhh... Lord Gravesbane?" (Go to page 14)
---"I think you're cute." (Go to page 3)

Page 13:
"You insolent buffoon! I should have your head for this!"

A score of angry guards unsheathed as many crystalline swords. The princess was angry. One word from her, and Lord Gravesbane would be sliced to ribbons. He would have to choose his next words very carefully.

---"But your majesty... why take my head, when you already have my heart?" (Go to page 15)
