Just wanted to say, this quest doesn't end in Stormwind. It ends to the east of the village, across the stream to the right.

I hopped in the vehicle, then tabbed out for a while. When I tabbed back in, I fell to my death. Not the worst thing in the world, but since no one has mentioned it, now you've been warned.

I'm unsure how, but for whatever reason, I didn't get on the flying machine fast enough. It despawned in front of me, and so I abandoned the quest, thinking I'd just pick it up again and be done. I have no idea how or where to pick up the quest again, so I'm going to send a ticket.

Update: I waited around, didn't send the ticket yet. Somehow, either one of the players or just by RNGesus, Rell Nightwind spawned and I was able to run in, grab the quest, and hop into the flying machine!

as of 6/3 on Remix this quest is broken - the guy to turn the quest into is not spawning.

Admiral Rogers seems to have taken a vacation. Nowhere to be seen on remix right now.

The quest has been fixed! Admiral Rogers has returned. June 6, 2024

As of now, this quest is still bugged. Admiral Rogers still isn't showing up. I made a macro to target her and flew around checking to see if for some reason she was at another location, but nothing popped up.

Edit: I just did the alliance quest in Krasarang Wilds where you help Varian secure Lion's Landing. After the initial quests, I got a quest to speak with Admiral Rogers on the Skybreaker in Krasarang Wilds and I definitely got my hopes up thinking I could turn in the "Onward and Inward" quest, but nope, I could only turn in the quest related to this zone. I doubt it'll work, but I'm wondering if there are any other quests in the other zones that require Admiral Rogers. I doubt this is the case, but I'm starting to wonder if there's some quest with Rogers that's bugging the Onward and Inward quest.

While the quest is broken and the npc we need isnt spawning for alliance, the best advice i got was to just get to level 20 and head to a different zone. There are a few small quest hubs in the Jade Forest you can do without turning this quest in, there's at least 2 breadcrumb quests in Dawn's Blossom that lead you to a few other quests in the zone. or just kill stuff til 20, then you can head to Valley of the Four Winds or Karasang Wilds
You can get the breadcrumb quest that lead to Valley of the Four Winds by going to dawn's blossom in the jade Forest and picking up His Name Was... Stormstout . if you do a couple of quests after this one, it will give you a breadcrumb quest Ken-Ken to go to Karasang Wilds.
You can also just go straight to both zones at 20 and find the hubs without getting the breadcrumb quests.

I was experiencing this bug, but cleared all the available quests showing on the Jade Forest map and went back and Sky Admiral Rogers was stood there like nothing had ever been amiss.

Was having issues with this a few days ago so just skipped it and went on questing elsewhere. Thought I'd come back today (there hasn't been an update etc since I last looked) and Admiral Taylor was standing there and I could hand the quest in. So... not sure if it has been fixed somehow or if doing other quests allowed me to now be able to hand in the quest.

Description

"Sha" energy, hm? Tread carefully, <name> - there's a hidden darkness to this continent.

We'll stay behind to mop up the rest of the Horde, but we need you to continue with the main mission: the rescue of Captain Taylor, and the retrieval of Prince Anduin.

Our aerial scouts think we've found the wreckage of the flagship near Paw'don Village. Go there and report to Admiral Rogers for instructions.
