If you have problems finding it, just head west of Lake of Stars, and you will find it on a hill.

This quest is bugged. First time I tried doing it I examined the tower then Korven the Prime just sat there for 10 minutes not doing anything (or being attacked by anything) so I abandoned then tried again. Now it won't even let me examine the tower and Korven is still just sitting there not doing anything...

When doing this quest any kills will give you Black Prince Rep.

This is probably the best place to farm that rep as the mobs have very little hp and swarm very fast.

Just drop down your guild banner, farm until he's done, and retake the quest.

It is done. Kypari Zar... cries out in unbearable agony.

For this quest, there are a few small waves. The mobs have minimal health, around 50k, and AoE tends to be the best tactic. Each wave has more people than the last. If you are to die doing this quest, run back to your body and talk to Korven the Prime again and he will begin examining the Sonar Pillar again.

If you're prone to seizures, you'll hate this quest. I couldn't find a good way to situate myself or zoom without getting blinded by those annoying sparks.

Description

What is that tree on the hill to the west? Can it be... Kypari Zar?

<Korven the Prime lapses into silence.>

When I returned from my final ravage, before being elevated to a paragon, I was given the honor of planting that very tree.

I see it has grown into a great kypari, but... it seems something is amiss.

There is an old sonar tower at the base of the tree. Take me there, Wakener. I can use the tower to take a closer look.
