If this quest doesn't work for you, it is because Anduin should be following you. Try relogging or abandoning the quest and getting it again. A light should explode from you when you kill a sha near a pandaren.

In order to get credit for this quest, you need to kill the mobs next to a monk with a Sha-Struck debuff. Otherwise, killing the mobs won't do anything.

I can't seem to find how to start this quest. I am fairly sure I have done all other quest hubs in between, but Anduin has no quests for me.

Sometimes joining a party can help if you seem to be stuck at like 6/10 mobs.

Prince Audin is at the camp and i can talk to him but he doesn't give me the quest. Ive done all but the Red Crane line of quest for the area and I have done the Into the Wilds. Am I bugged or just missing something with this quest?

I found the best tactic for completing this quest was to tag the little Shas (Haunt of Despair), and then drag them practically on top of the appropriate despairing monks. The range required of the dying Sha seemed very small, so this was the most effective way for me.

After completing this I still had Anduin following me with a dead-end as far as quests go. He didn't offer any and i had NO quests in my log. He just followed me forever. I eventually found that i had to do the two quests from Crane Wing refuge (they involved cleansing the annoying temple for a while) and he eventually left.

When you make the kill YOU have to be next to the hopeless monk so they are in the flash that comes off you ...I think

after spending WAY too long on this quest dealing with all the adds, the BROKEN stun that the big mobs can spam over and over on you, and the npc's wandering away while you're trying to inspire them, i started looking around. in the center of the quest area is a set of stairs with a bunch of npc's fighting one or two mobs. OH, i thought to myself, here's a way i can do this stupid quest faster, i'll kill that one and get credit for all these npc's...NOPE...if you're LUCKY you get credit for one....and you have to do EIGHTEEN of these....

you know, if it was just one or two difficult quests per zone, blizzard, i wouldn't complain, i'd just look for the easier ones...but NO...

every SINGLE quest in pandaria is a HUGE pain in the ass, and no one will let you level any other way, you HAVE to do them to get "good enough" gear to do randoms...once my paid time is up, i am DONE with this game...

If you aren't able to start this quest it's likely because you haven't completed the "into the wilds" quest chain.

I've found that the larger Shas with double health give double xp than the little ones. So killing the large ones may have a benefit for you if you are leveling fast and only staying in the area to do the quests.

after following the directions found in the comments i couldnt find the quests, then in a ticket a GM told me i had to do the quest Ken-Ken (Ken-Ken) in order to find my way to these quests, i hope it helps anyone

Wanted to finish this quest chain for quick August Celestials reputation, but it ended up taking me a while to be able to start this quest so I'll link what's necessary here.

First, complete Into the Wilds by finishing all of the quests at Zhu's Watch. You'll then get an escort quest, Unsafe Passage, which takes you to Crane Wing Refuge.

In Crane Wing Refuge, you'll need to complete these three quests before Anduin will offer you Sha Can Awe:

The Murksweats
Blinding the Riverblades
Tread Lightly

My Anduin Wrynn dissapeared after I had a bad lag spike. I think he maybe died or I dont know. Anyway he was gone, I reloaded - nothing, I relogged (a few times) - nothing.

So eventually I abbandoned the quest and retook it, and he was back. I just thought to mention it.

You need to be close to a Monk when you kill a Sha. The explosion centres on you, not the Shar or your pet.
If you're too far away, then the explosion from killing the Sha doesn't inspire the Monk.

If you can't get Anduin to follow you, just abandon the quest and do it again as without him you can't cure any monks.

He does an aoe type spell around you every time you make a kill. The aoe spell is larger (and can include more monks) the bigger the sha mob you kill.

2023 - Go to a highlighted monk, be sure Anduin Wrynn is by your side, stand next to the monk, target and kill a monster, the monk will be cured and will count.

Description

The sha have the mysterious ability to evoke powerful, often overwhelming, emotional responses in their victims.

As we fled the temple, senior members of the Crane Wing order stayed behind to cover our escape. They are no doubt being subjected to intense emotional trauma, and I fear they are not all strong enough to resist falling into despair.
