In this quest, you are reliving the events of Sully’s story. You have only one ability; Light Scope, and the objective is to scout the shrines. Amber Kearnen is waiting on a nearby hilltop with a sniper rifle ready to shoot anything you target with Light Scope. The mobs in this area are stealthed, so keep an eye out for them and very shortly after you target the mobs, Amber will shoot them.

Because the full quest chain is not showing on WoWHead yet, the quests are in this order:
1. The Scouts Return
2. SI:7 Report: Lost in the Woods
3. SI:7 Report: Fire From the Sky
4. SI:7 Report: Hostile Natives
5. SI:7 Report: Take No Prisoners

Amber will be positioned to shoot at mobs wherever you are, so don't just stand at the first shrine lighting up tigers to kill until they stop attacking or you will be there forever! Just go to each of the shrines in the area, pausing only to light up mobs who you attack along the way, and the whole scenario will play out and finish upon your return.

This quest bugged for me on live. The tigers killed the dwarf, and my main character replaced him at the spot where he stood. I had to run back to Pearlfin Village (through unexplored territory, no less), and then a phasing bug only showed Admiral Taylor in the village, and nobody else. I had to abandon the quest and relog to reveal Sully in the village again and accept the quest from him.

If you happen to Die while doing the quest. you have to make your way back to Pearlfin village, drop the quest then logout and log back in.

You will run to each of the three locations, marking tigers for Amber to kill along the way.

Locations of the camps:

South East 49.61
North 47.58
South West 46.61

Camp is at 50.63

Role play event fades...

Move straight up ahead as you were. When engaged by any NPC, use Light Scope and keep running, they will spawn random.

Find the first stone marked on your original blizzard map, no sign of White Pawn.

Keep scounting like this until you get back to camp. I recommend that you follow the paths for one simple reason, bridges.

I, for one, could not see or hear Rell Nightwind's lines at the beginning (I could see and hear everyone else's), so it took me a while to figure out what to do. Probably one of my addons...

"I found no sign of the White Pawn at the southwestern shrine.
However, I did find a friendly raccoon, who began to follow me.
I decided to name him Gizmo.
Sully: Hey there, little buddy! I'm gonna name you Gizmo.
Gizmo: Squeak! *Gets sniped by Amber*
Sully: NO! GIZMO!
Sully: AMBER, WHY! I DIDN'T EVEN SHINE MY DAMN LIGHT!
Shortly afterward, another raccoon befriended me.

You feel sorry for the Gizmo?
There is a way to save him and finish the quest with two raccoons :)
South-west sanctuary must be run past fast and when the raccoon would be about to be killed, highlight the tiger. Then Gizmo survives :)

For those who want to complete this as quickly as possible:

Each time you exit vehicle and return using the quest giver you will return to the base camp. Therefore it is fastest to head west as soon as you can move, get the close shrine and the far west one, wait until they register and then leave, bounce back in and head north, then leave and you'll be back just in time to have amber kill the hozen.

I had Path of Frost on before starting the quest, and it affected Sully too. Meaning, he could walk on water. It fades when you shine the light on tigers, and when you get hit, but it comes back on the moment you're out of combat.

I got my best results when I ran to the markers, outrunning the tigers. At the markers, it was sometimes necessary to fight.

on this whole chain of quests my one guy could pick herbs but the other the next day could not mine. It said you cant do this now. The miners union will be contacting blizz shortly.

Read a couple of these comments. people talking about Gizmo getting shot and even though i knew what was coming i still let out a slight shriek when i saw it happen before my eyes it was horrible.
Poor little raccoon and getting a second one to replace the first didn't erase the horror.

If you die during this quest, you get teleported back to camp. But you just have to talk to Sully and click to 'Carry On With Your Story'. No need to drop the quest and start again.

You many notice Socks isn't in the camp after you finish this quest. If you want to find out why, just do the next quest in the series. :(

If you just run counter clockwise around the road to the west you will end up basically getting all the shrines. Just spam the button that you get and it will target the tigers. make a full circle and basically done

During this quest, first I get disconnected from the game when the memory begins.
Then I try to do it again, and I can't interact with the unknown person laying on the plane. Anyone else having this problem?

I hate these "walk all the way across the map in a dream sequence" quests that are obviously filler to add game time.

It's like walking back to your corpse, except it's a quest...

You can tab-target Lurking Tigers and take them out before they ever attack as you move around.
You can also continue to Mine and Herb gather as Sully.
If you have your mount on a hotkey and hit it as Sully, it will dismount you and you'll have to talk to Sully to get back in his body.

Trying to complete this as a level 16 hunter during Pandaria Remix and it's impossible to complete because I keep dying. Update: Third attempt it finally worked by mashing the tab key to target the tigers asap, then #1 to kill them. Boy do I hate that quest!

After several restarts, get to the SW shrine and just get swamped by tigers all at once. Impossible to tab & #1.

Third time doing this quest, just levelling an alt. Some things I found useful this time around:

- Volume up. Listen for those stealth noises!
- Don’t stand/stay in same spot for long. In fact once the scenario starts, head straight over to the other camps and keep moving. This method doesn’t seem to spawn many tigers!
- As others have mentioned, spam the “Tab” button on your keyboard and hit 1 or attack as soon as you have that tiger target! Stealth noises may not always occur and the tab button picks them up quite quickly!

Done all of this and had a smooth full run! It is a bit of a pain!

For anyone who is finding this quest bugged where Rell is just yelling over and over but there's nothing to shoot- if you don't move before you shoot the ambushing Hozen, it leads to this bug/stuck. Moving before shooting will avoid/solve the issue.

Total waste . I've done this more than a dozen times with a swarm of tigers that need two sniper hits each before they drop, often attacking two at a time, and YOU die after three, maybe four hits. Got two of the three shrines via the 'run-and-die' method but the third shrine never 'counted' even though the narrative said I searched and found nothing but a rabid raccoon. Then swarmed by two tigers at once and dead, dead, dead. If you didn't have to listen to the whole damn narrative over and over and over it might be bearable for a few more tries but it takes longer to listen to the script than it does to die after it's over.

Thus endeth the MoP remix for me.

SUCCESS EDIT: I took Lothar's suggestion below about taking a 'different path' not being sure what that meant. For me it was a path to the north side of the sniper nest, across the river and continuing to stay on the north side of the Serpent's Heart statue under construction (47.32, 59.53) then further south-west across the water and around the west side of the gold dragon statue on the rock (44.18, 62.09) by which time I got credit for the third shrine, was told to go back to camp, and no tigers on the return trip.

It did take me two or three tries to complete this and did quite a bit of stopping and circling while spamming 'Tab' to target tigers but finally made it.

This is bugged like the first quest - the npc's do way to much damage. Pretty much the only way to do this quest is to wait at each shrine for your health to go back up - and be really careful when heading back.

As of July 31, 2024, I just completed the quest with no issues after giving up on the 30th after having run it 9 or 10 times and getting one-shotted.
