The Deepseeker Crabs are combat pets for the Idra'kess Harpooner naga. They patrol on the outer rim of Nespirah's insides. Kill the naga first before using the net on the crab. You don't need to be out of combat to use the net.

If you're having trouble looting the crab (it turns friendly but isn't lootable) try using the net on the crab before engaging the naga.

This quest was very buggy when I did it. Crabs kept falling through the floor when I finally found one. But I found a way for DKs to get them. If u can get one targeted just run around and use deathgrip. With abit o' luck it will hit and and sometimes it comes to the "surface". If it just hits u from underground move around abit till u can throw the net at it. When thrown, just grab it. Quest done ;)

This is bugged on the Beta. All the mobs fall through the world.

If you want to complete it, go to the southern part you can see from the map. There will be a spawn close to the brain where you talk to Nespirah.

Basically head south, and just past the south western exit, at the highest point before it goes down a Harpooner will pat. Pull the harpooner and kite towards the exit, it will fall through the world but be able to catch up to you right near the exit before you go out into the water. The deepseeker crab will follow, and you can catch it using the net, then loot the crab to complete the quest.

You will probably have to do this until its fixed.

Couldn't figure out what I was doing wrong with this quest. Was killing the Naga and then dropping the net on the crab and still no update. Then I discovered by accident that while the crab is friendly, the loot symbol appears on it. Loot the crab while it is still friendly and, voila, quest update !

Ok, this Quest is doing my complete head in! I cannot find these crabs anywhere. It marks them on my map as a little red dot, but when I go there, there is nothing.

Can somebody give me co-ordinates please?

If you can stun or sheep the naga, there's no need to kill it.

This quest was bugged in an odd way for me. After about 5 crabs what finally worked was netting the crab, killing it's naga, then letting the net debuff run out. I then used the net a second time on the crab and I was able to click/loot it.

Description

Everything in my body tells me that Nespirah is trying to speak with me, but I cannot hear her. Perhaps the naga have done something to her voice.

<Duarn thinks to himself for a moment.>

Nespirah's voice may be suppressed... that means... we need to find a voice for her!

I've got it! The Idra'kess have been known to train deepseeker crabs as battle companions. Use this net to capture a crab, and bring it to me. You will likely find them prowling the chamber's outer edges.
