Do this quest at the same time as http://wotlk.wowhead.com/?quest=12039
He is in the sink hole right on top the words "Azjol Nerub" on the map.

Don't forget to pickup and do http://wotlk.wowhead.com/?quest=12040 while you are down there. (Quest giver is in the sink hole)

Spawn coordinates are 28.87, 49.76.

Very quick respawn - 30 seconds or so.

Leads to the quest The Flesh Bound Tome which is started by the Flesh Bound Tome drop off of Anua'bar Cultists in Icemist Villiage in Dragon's Blight.

This quest chain opens up after completing Victory Nears...

The first quest in that line of quests starts with Load 'er Up! in Taunka'le Village of Borean Tundra.

I got a bit confused with all the comments, so I've taken note to help others. =)

There are several quests that can be done all at once in this area along with High Cultist Zangus.

The guy is underground, in a cave. The entrance to the cave is near 27.50 where you can fall through one of the holes to the cave underground (small amount of fall damage) or find the walkway to get down, but it's hard to see.

Once you get down, you can start collecting Black Blood of Yogg-Saron for quest of the same name.

Walk towards 26.50 to complete From the Depths of Azjol-Nerub where you can pick up more from the bug and continue through the cave in the opposite direction.

Now that you've done all this, head toward 28.50 to slay High Cultist Zangus!

Kill High Cultist Zangus and return High Cultist Zangus's Head to Captain Gort at Agmar's Hammer in the Dragonblight.

Description

I witnessed his treachery with my own eyes! The traitor led an Anub'ar assault on this stronghold, taking out some of my best soldiers.

<Gort shakes his head.>

He'd been working with the Scourge the whole time and we didn't have a clue! How many more like Zangus are there? We'll find 'em all and when we do...

<Gort makes a cutting motion across his neck.>

First on the list is Zangus. Our scouts report that he is hiding in The Pit of Narjun, west of here. Find him, kill him, bring me his head.
