Apparently there seem to be 3 questlines needed to be done to unlock this quest.

The wondrous bloodspore --> Trophies of Gammoth.

The defense of Warsong Hold --> The plains of Nasam with a couple of sub-quests to get mats for the tank.

Untold Truths --> Get to Getry Leading to Foolish Endeavors --> Vermin Extermination.

I don't know about the rest of you, but I'm very glad that unlike TBC, I wont be replacing my hard won epics (the badge fists/axe/daggers/casterstuff) with the first quest green or blue that comes along, sure these are awesome for people rocking kara weapons, but if your higher in TBC progression, they are just vendor fodder.

And that's a good thing!

Note: When you get this quest from Hellscream, for those who dont like to read the main description of the quests, you can talk to the stable master in Warsong Hold and get a free, and rather quick Wolf ride to the village.

Saves alot of time, and you cant be ganked while riding it if your on a PvP server.

I completed this quest at level 68! I came straight to Borean Tundra and focused exclusively on the quest line. I still have 2.5 bars before I even hit 69.

HY to all.
I did the three questlines, but couldn´t get the quest from Hellscream.
Then i went back to the Strand and did the quests there.
finaly i did the quest in which u drive the tank.
With giving in this quest at Hellscream i got friendly with warsong hold and then the quest Hellscream`s Champion appeared.
I´m not sure if it was because i completet the tank-quest or because i got friendly there, but if u do both AND the three questlines u definitly will get the quest

you must also complete the quest Get to Getry http://www.wowhead.com/?quest=11703which leads to http://www.wowhead.com/?quest=11705 as well as those mentioned above to receive this quest.

Yes there are three quest chains to finish for this quest. The confusion comes from two of the chains appear to end because you need to pick up a new quest from that NPC instead of them just assigning you a new one. Each quest line is considered "complete" when you are told to go back and report to Hellscream for some reward. I would do them in this order so you can minimize backtracking. I did this just last night.

Grab Untold Truths while you're doing The Defense of Warsong Hold chain because you'll be in the quarry anyway. Then continue the Defense of Warsong Hold chain and pick up Tanks a lot... after it "seems" to end. Once done you can consider that chain complete.

Pickup where you left off in the Untold Truths chain and once it appears to be over pick up the Foolish Endeavors quest line from the same NPC and finish it off. On the last quest of this chain (Vermin Extermination), pick up The Wondrous Bloodspore since you'll be killing in the bloodspore area anyway.

Once The Wondrous Bloodspore quest line is complete you should be able to pick up Hellscream's Champion.

Very easy to get this quest, and reward.

1-Fly into Warsong from Orgrimmar, complete all the quests near Warsong Hold.
2-Complete all the quests near the farm (just west of Warsong) ending with the quest to kill the elite (no worries you can kill him)
3-Complete all the quests on the beach (just west of the farm quests)
4-Take the Alliance deserter to the 'T' intersection and complete all the quests in that area, ending with the quest to kill elite (once again no worries you can shrink and kill him)
5-Talk to Hellscream, get quest, take a ride, and enjoy.

It took me about a hour and half to complete and collect item.

What exact level do you have to be to get the quest/ rewards! I'm 68, and the quest isn't there. I'm 1 bar off ding, so I'm going to ding then come back. Do i have to be 70? or is it possible for 69?

i dont know why people are so bothered by there not being a feral weap, have u guys not noticed there isn't anything for tanks or shaman/paladin healers either? there will be stuff for u feral droods too, blizz just isnt gonna put 8 or 9 different weaps on one quest reward

After completing this quest I've noticed that the guards now cheer at my character and say random things, such as "There walks a hero!" and so on. I'm just wondering if this is because of this quest, or because I'm revered with Horde Expedition.

Similar thing happens at Argent Vanguard after repelling the attack from Scourgeholme. However I see no indication that the quests have "following spell will be cast on you" ... I do however believe it is somekind of permanent aura.. The question is - how does this mechanic work then?

Thought it odd how no one mentioned yet what occurs when you accept the quest.

A group of Warsong Honor Guards appear forming a corridor to the stables from the central circle. When you approach one of them turns to you and says "This way, ma'am/sir." He turns and points towards the stables. The group of orcs then all salute and then kneel.

Greatly disappointed in the lack of Feral friendly choices as the fist weapon is rather subpar. You can pick up better greens in the AH.

If you do this quest before you change faction you can do the quest again after the change.
So it's possible to get the quest rewards twice..

Wow this quest serie is so easy compared to the alliance's quest chain that leads to the same reward... The horde's chain takes around 20 minutes as the alliance's chain lasts around 1 hour because you need to find a group to kill the elite and everything... Favoritism blizz...

and to be honest, those 50 clams are WAY easier to farm than this annoying chain.

My hunter came back to this chain at 80 for the gold instead of the rewards, while my paladin and DK did this chain for the Axe of Frozen Death..

Warlockholmes is also incorrect, the chain takes longer at 68-69 than what he's saying.

With an 80 to help and complete focus, it took us at least an hour on my paladin. No bathroom breaks, food breaks, water breaks.

I've also noticed quite a few people don't realize this chain gives such good rewards...I direct each of my guildies leveling through borean tundra through it, helping where they need assistance if they can use the rewards.

So tell your new-to-northrend guildies.

Am currently working on the chain solo on my 70 holy/shadow priest for the haste staff (I'd rather the haste than the extra sp on the keleseth dagger (Keleseth's Blade of Evocation) as a holy priest, since I have like no haste yet.) so far I'd estimate 2 hours counting corpse-runs attributed largely to the mist men. and I have only just started the bloodspore plains chain.

On Alliance side you can skip straight to the axe quest chain and actually get the axe at level 68. Right now I'm totally lost on my second horde toon. The above info does little to help, but thanks all the same.

Brutal Gladiator's War Staff is better for casters than either caster staff.

This piece of data makes me think that the Brutal gear would be better than every reward from this quest, and it doesn't take that long to obtain the weapon.

Brutal Gladiator stuff is not available until 70. This is available at 68 for use in BG's.

Seek out Chieftain Wintergale at Taunka'le Village.

Description

You have faced all challenges that have been set before you and squashed them beneath your boot heel. It is because of you, <name>, that the Horde is now firmly entrenched in Northrend.

But our work has only just begun. We must march to Icecrown and we must tear down its walls!

Your next assignment begins to the east, at Taunka'le Village. Our taunka allies are in dire straits and require aid. Secure transport from the stable master, Durkot Wolfbrother, and seek out Chieftain Wintergale at Taunka'le.
