The are four casters protecting the coffin at around 35,66. Clear the area of mobs and 'use' the coffin. A level 65 non-elite mob will appear. Kill the mob to complete the quest.

The tomb at 35, 65. It is surrounded by 4 Auchenai Death-Speakers, which are easy to kill and can be taken two at a time. When you activate the coffin a level 65 Reanimated Exarch spawns. He's also easy to kill.

The coffin is on the upper level of the ruins, not the lower.

Very easy solo quest as a 66 Hunter. Just kill the 2 sets of casters on each side of the coffin, then spawn the Exarch and defeat him to complete the quest. As mentioned above he is an easy kill. The guards don't respawn very fast, so you don't have to rush to kill them before spawning him.

You can kill two of the mobs on one side and use the coffin without fear of pulling the other two.

Finished the fight with 100% health and (thanks to shadowfiend) 100% mana. Very very easy for a priest.

This boss is very easy and does not require a group for it. Also when you click on the altar you have to go to the sides because if u go to the front it will say "out of range" so go to the sides to click on it to summon the quest mob

Exact coords are 35.8, 65.6.

There are 4 casters around it, 2 being on either side. If you attack one of the two that are close to each other, they will agro the other.

Confirm the coords, but I disagree with Sthix. Solo'd the 4 of them, and they only aggro'd if one ran. Not too difficult and easily handled with a little CC.

Killed the four guards easily, then three shotted the exarch... No difficulty at all as a 66 demonolgy lock, took all of 30 seconds :) Easy experience

You only have to kill 2 on one side summon the guy then pull to that side.

The four guardians are level 64 Auchenai Death-Speakers (casters) that can be pulled and fought individually. Using the Auchenai Coffin summons a level 65 NON-elite Reanimated Exarch. Nothing special.

The cordinats to this quest are 35,66. It is teh top offin not the bottom one. All you have to do is travel there, kill the 4 casters, open the coffinn, then kill the guy who appears.

as a lvl 64 i simply killed the mobs at the east side of the coffin, used the coffin and killed the lvl 65, no need to kill the others =P

For the ppl that do not have cord stuff the coffen is on the left side of the Ring of Observance.

Simple, just approach the coffin from inside the arena (if you can fly) and open it, kill the baddie and fly away.

I wanted the shoulders so went to Commander Ra'vaj.
He made me do 2 other quests first before i got this one.

I didn't do any other quests in terokkar, so no other pre-quests then those two.

1. The Fallen Exarch
• Accept the quest, The Fallen Exarch, from Commander Ra'vaj at coords 31.0, 76.0 (Sha'tari Base Camp).
• Travel northeast to coords 35.8, 65.4.
• Click the Auchenai Coffin, and kill the Reanimated Exarch that appears.
• Travel southwest, to the Sha'tari Base Camp, at coords 31.0, 76.0.
• Turn in the quest to Commander Ra'vaj.

Just did this quest on my DH and the gear quest rewards have been removed. All i see is a money reward.

This quest is now part of the Sha'tari Base Camp quest chapter. And btw, the coffin is not in the Auchenai Crypts, but above it, on an upper tier of the Ring of Observance.

The Fallen Exarch

Commander Ra'vaj at the Sha'tari Base Camp in the Bone Wastes of Terokkar Forest wants you to destroy the contents of the Auchenai Coffin.

Description

They are feeding the souls they steal to a coffin that they have dragged out from the Auchenai Crypts. My scouts believe the contents of the coffin to contain the first exarch of the crypts. They seek to resurrect the ancient one!

You must battle your way to the western side of Auchindoun and disturb the contents of that coffin before they feed it enough souls. Should you lose your way, follow the walking souls.

Destroy whatever is inside that coffin!
