There seems to be an error with the Honor Hold reputation reward of 250 points in this quest - it is listed as NEGATIVE 250 points; I believe this is wrong.

I got the 12th talisman on the 20th kill, when focusing strictly on the Bleeding Hollow Peons just outside Zeth' Gor. Better than average drop rate...

Annoying quest with crappy drop rate, at least as of Feb 5th. Watch for the eyes of whatever as they will summon orcs

This quest was a true pain for me. Killed 17 Peons, 26 Grunts, 3 warlocks and some shamans.

As a 58 warrior, I had the most success and the least dying when I killed the peons outside the actual compound. They are all level 59 while the rest can be up to 61, and bring adds often.

Rotating around the outside of the compound will gain you the talismans quickly, killing the peons (58-61), wtch out for the mounted hunters also as they can create some problems.

I also want to add, that this is the most annoying quest I have ever done in WoW. Seriously. With all the pat mobs that (VERY OFTEN) for me, blocks all ways of escape, and I can't stand still either because then they will reach me as well. I hate this quest. I will never do it again on future chars.

I found that these can drop from the Peons working around and outside the camp, a lot easier than trying to take down the Lvl 61+ guards.

Just as the others say just farm the peons outside the camp keep looking over your shoulder for pats as they come by VERY often i got ambushed by 3 converging on my location as i was typing this drop rates been decent got most of them quickly but exept for im in a slump 10+kills atm no talisman and i only need 2.

I just killed any that came close as a 59 BM hunter. It was pretty easy except when I went to the towers for Zeth'Gor Must Burn! Then came a good aggro, but not too bad. I seemed to get 1 Talisman every 2 or 3 orcs.

Watch out for pats and adds, I've lost count of how many times I've died (59 resto druid) trying to do this quest, I only have 3 right now out of 12, due to not being able to get into a single fight without having 2 or 3 more mobs jump in.

The droprate seems to be extremely random, I was running some quests with a friend of mine and I got 8 talismans to his 2, we just killed some when we did Zen´Gor Must Burn so we didn´t finish at that point but as previously stated it seems very random to me, my first 6 Talismans I had a 100% droprate inside the camp when my firend had closer to 15% overall killing the same mobs. Just beg that you are lucky =D

This is a pretty boring quest if you are unlucky with the drops.

Horriblly random drop rate. Got the first six in half an hour, attended a world pvp gankfest, came back and spent two hours farming inside and outside to get not a single drop. :(

There is a very good safe grinding spot to get these talismans at .
The quest isn't bad. It's just like grinding except you have the added danger of the Fel Reaver stomping on you from time to time.(##RESPBREAK##)8##DELIM##hatman555##DELIM##

I was having trouble with a low drop rate until I checked here and saw the info about the peons. After that I only killed peons (I had 4 talismans at the time) and had a 100% drop rate on them. It was also much easier as a lvl 59 lock to fight outside and avoid the crowds/high spawn rate inside Zeth'Gor.

1. Cursed Talismans
• Accept Cursed Talismans from Corporal Ironridge at coords 70.8, 63.4 (Expedition Point).
• Travel south to the vicinity of coords 66.8, 73.8 (Zeth'Gor), and kill Bleeding Hollow Orcs in the area, looting 12 Cursed Talisman from their corpses.
• Travel north to coords 70.8, 63.4 (Expedition Point), and turn in the quest to Corporal Ironridge.

The talismans have a low droprate, and the quest only grants about a third of the regular XP, for some strange reason (not that it matters that much anymore). It's oddly balanced and kind of a hassle, but you do need to complete it to access other questlines.
