They come out of small eggs that kind of look like adamantite mines, scattered all over the Celestial Ridge.

You might need to kill quite a few dragons to be able to get all the eggs you need, but spotting them wasn't really hard. They're all over the place.

Very easy if you are Neutral with Netherwing, they dont aggro when you take the eggs.

Neutral with Netherwing or not, this quest is very easy considering your expectations after doing the fel reaver parts and other collect quests in this zone. Most of the eggs have a rapid respawn, are unguarded, and come 2 or 3 within a 10 yard cluster.

I also love it how 2 or 3 eggs spawn right next to the quest giver.. lazy girl!

For me as a mage,They resist every frost spell!

As a shadow priest, I had a lot of partial resists on my shadow spells. I guess you just need to stack penetration to get through their resistances.

Gathered my eggs southwards from Tyri and towards the northeastern ridge. No dragons and lots of eggs :)

I've been trying to do this all day today. I am at exalted and I clicked "at war," but I'm still unable to attack. Not a valid target. Did Bliz change the "at war" thing?

For Rogues, under reputation set Netherwing to "At War" (this WILL NOT affect your rep) and then use Fan of Knives to kill the Dragons, so you will definitely need a throwing knife. You will also use this to kill Veraku in part 6 - Securing the Celestial Ridge.

1. A Promising Start
• Accept the quest, A Promising Start, from Tyri at coords 71.2, 35.2 (Celestial Ridge).
• Travel south to area of coords 73, 41, and loot 15 Nether Dragonkin Egg, you come across.
• Travel north to coords 71.2, 35.2.
• Turn in the quest to Tyri.

Gather 15 Nether Dragonkin Eggs, then return to Tyri and Jorad on the Celestial Ridge.

Description

We've come here to investigate rumors of a strange breed of dragons, perhaps even descendents of Deathwing himself. These are clearly not ordinary black dragons, though.

We'll know more once we've had a chance to examine their eggs. Their hatred for my flight runs deep, so I can't get close enough to gather the eggs. Will you agree to help?
