IMPORTANT: Caution this baby does about 5 ticks of 800 damage and blasts u into the air. EDIT: Cant use in combat

It is confirmed it does damage the opposition and guards will attack, i used mine up on a water kind of tower in area 52 with low health. I ended up with 58 health back on the tower XD. Lucky i guess, almost had to spirit res.

Just a matter of concern. can u use this in azeroth?

If you're a clothwearer like me, and just want to choose the item that sells for the most at vendor, 'Area 52 Defender's Pants' are the ones to choose.

An awesome quest line, ultimately ending in a "cool" rocket helm. :)

The rocket helm won't save you from things really, but it is alot of fun to go to Shatt with some friends that have the helms, & get in a big group & all take off at the same time. :)

Props to Blizz for a worthwhile toy item & a decent story driven quest series.

This quest is a pain in the ass for me >_<. It took me 2hours to find a group. And when i did he Wiped:P Then we got a resto shammy and what happend? Wipe. What im trying to tell ya guys is that you need NEED atleast 1vel 70. Trust me i tried for 5hours spend two just to make a gruop. But if u have a good healer u can take him down. And some ppl in my group diden't think that they were gonna DPS:P -------------DON'T MAKE THAT MISTAKE-------------

For those looking to transmog the X-52 Rocket Helmet it won't let you. :(
The may change this is a future patch but a doubt it.

• Accept the quest, Back to the Chief!, from Doctor Vomisa, Ph.T. at coords 37.2, 63.8.
• Travel west, to Area 52, to coords 32.6, 64.4.
• Turn in the quest to Rocket-Chief Fuselage.

Mini-Guide for X-52 Rocket Helmet (Legion toy), previously X-52 Rocket Helmet (head armor).

Rewarded from Back to the Chief!, the final quest in a 7-part quest chain, all taking place in Netherstorm, Outland.

If you have destroyed your helmet:
As of 6.2.3, Rocket-Chief Fuselage has the dialog option: "Chief, I've somehow misplaced my X-52 Rocket Helmet!" to which he replies "Well, alright then, there you go, First Officer <charactername>. Just try to be more careful with your helmet in the future. Those things don't grow on trees, you know!" and gives you a new helmet.

If you cannot get the initial quest Help Mama Wheeler from Papa Wheeler, you need to complete these pre-quests:
Consortium Crystal Collection from Nether-Stalker Khay'ji which, once complete, will let you pick up Pick Your Part from Papa Wheeler.

And now you can...

Congratulations on your new X-52 Rocket Helmet!

RazerWolf came up with a great macro here (will need to be tested once this item is a toy instead of a helm), that simulates a problem with your mount (/panic /emote slams the ejector button!) and ejects you (/dismount /use X-52 Rocket Helmet). He/She also notes that "the Parachute effect only works to the height you blasted off from, so if you're too high up you might still kill yourself."
