Ofc they forgot to nerf debuffs on Emberon and Chrono-Lord Deios for exact same reason. There's likely even more things I forgot about that should have been nerfed to reduce a need for mass dispel... Recent news post about priest on wowhead had a huge list of them... https://www.wowhead.com/news/why-nerfing-shadow-priest-damage-wont-change-their-importance-in-mythic-guide-334552
thank you blizzard! this is the proper nerfs to spriest. nerfing md outright would be a massive mistake and would damage the spec for the remaining seasons to come. should make mind soothe not work ontrue sight mobs and/or nerf the mobs only priests can skip now so they're decent options now.
rare tomrus w take. not complaining about +13's being too hard no fix your game nonsense actual valid concerns about more high frequency abilities holy gigachad
That's nice, but SPriest is still completely mandatory for both of these keys (Mind Soothe skips the entirety of the dragon/casters section after 2nd boss, and two UIdaman bosses require mass dispels) and counters every new affix, Bursting, and Spiteful just by existing. This doesn't really change anything for Exodia's viability.
I guess you won't need a priest on fortified weeks now.
how about the others ?
They're giving season 2 the raszageth treatment, just watch
Wait.. so they nerf our damage 3x THEN get a clue and start nerfing MD? LOL I am so glad I unsubbed, what kind of baboons do they have working at this place.
the handful changes will only cause a handful keys to be timed nothing changed to mass dispell importance or exodia. Feel free to play PoE or BG3 as you already do :P
The biggest issue with shadow priests is they have the same exact kit as the healing priests. They should strip away some stuff from shadow and leave it on holy and disc. They also need to nerf the mana cost for mass dispel for healing priests.
It's almost like you have a design problem when you nerf the one class with a mass dispel and all of a sudden multiple dungeons become not doable because the lack of mass dispel.
Nothing for Emberon, or Chrono-Lord, or Bursting, or Vortex Pinnacle, or Neltharius, zzz...
Well, it's about 2 months late and not nearly full coverage of the issues, but it's better than nothing.
Right, so this changes nothing and we will still need a priest MD at emberon and chrono lord deios. and we're skipping dragons in halls anyway with mind soothe, so nerfing that debuff does almost nothing.yet again devs not listening and these nerfs do nothing
I mean.. OK but Mass Dispel and Mind Soothe are the problem not individual mob spells.I'm so tired of whiny content creators trying to protect their favorite specs and impeding the progress of the game's development over it.You have one outlier. Priest. Why are the changes not being done to the outlier. Why are people opposed to that. Some of you need to start looking at the game in a more distant, holistic way- and understand that good games are the ones where you have multiple tools and styles to solve the same problem, not ones where almost every problem can be solved by one single character or power.
Such useless changes. Any group that is doing keys above 20s doesn't pull timereavers or dragons in the first place, only 2 dragons total in HOI and they're super easy becuase they usually have full cds for them.edit- Who are these changes actually for? It feels like they're trying to break exodia comp, and nerf keys for the 20+ crowd... but just despite having a whole team of high end players to ask their opinions + TGP just ending... are just nerfing things that are actually irrelevant to the 20+ crowd.
Some ppl are real baboons blaming classes and stuff where the whole issue is in dungeons themselves. People saying remove mass dispel from shadow and just give it to the healer specs, good job Einstein you just killed a mid tier dps and made a healer mandatory for every group, reminds me of holy pala for some reason...hmmm weird. Instead of crying about a spec and it's toolkit you should wonder Why is it actually mandatory, which is over tuned dispelable skills that never got touched in every dungeon since the start of the season because people were crying for harder mythic+ content last season.
