Where is Necromancer for DK?As I understand it, there will be no story quests related to unlocking an additional specialization like there was in the Legion expansion for legendary weapons?
The names are unfortunately very race thematic. The Druid ones are very Night Elf, the Monk ones Pandaren. Mountain Thane is a Dwarf title. Are we ready for Blood Elf Mountain Thanes? Worgen Keepers of the Grove? Dark Iron Shadow-Pan? I think the concept might be ok if the names were a bit more neutral. Its probably one of the biggest mistakes they've made in the past - such as Monks being inextricably linked to Pandaren culture. Instead of keeping it more neutral and open to the player's interpretation. E.g. human monks being more like Scarlet monks. This forces an identity on your character that may not be wanted.
Rider of the Apocalypse better have some sort of mounted combat ability. That would be cool.
Since Ion said some of these are WIP and may be changed / replaced, here's my copium wishlist:Death Knight - Necromancer (San'layn is awesome, would have asked for it but it's there)Demon Hunter - Hunter of the Moon (Tyrande style DH, we now know it's possible)Druid - Druid of the Flame (duh)Priest - Inquisitor (Scarlet Crusade or Venthyr themed focusing on torture and confessions)Hunter - Shadowhunter (probably instead of Pack Leader), and Sentinel should have some Chakram skillsShaman - Witch Doctor and Tidesage (focused on Nature damage spells and Water/Ice spells, respectively)Warlock - Lich (just use some Maldraxxus spells idc, Death and Fel are both green, Liches are cool)Warrior - Warden and Blademaster (Glaive combat and Samurai stuff)Edit:Paladin - Spellbreaker (instead of Lightsmith, what even is that)Monk - something focusing on Fan-based melee combat or improving Teas/Brews/KegsEvoker - Primalist or Aberration (learning to use elemental or void powers like Sarky and Vyr)Mage - Chronomancer (Elysande, Mages had time magic way before Evokers so it fits them too)Rogue - Spellblade (magical venoms, turns physical finisher into spell damage)
I'm super confused, the ones for mages don't make much sense to me. I play arcane mage and what options do I have? Sunfury arcane mage? Frostfire arcane mage? Both seem to revolve around fire spells or mixture of fire and frost. So spellslinger only one left thematically for arcane? I hoped the would not be spec linked.
Wow, so now I have to choose between Sanlayn and Dark Ranger, blizz really makes it hard for me to choose one class to main.
Priestess of elune isnt an option? I want blue/white themed moon priest spells!
what does fatebound even mean? Trickster would be dirty brawler/scammer type Deathstalker is a silent killer typesad they didn't lean harder into pirate stuff for outlaw
SUNFURY FOREVER!
Great idea although I'd love to see :- Warden - Spellblade- Shadow hunter- Necromancer - LichBut great anyway!
