The combo of Poison Fang and Puncture Wound seemed like a pretty good combo to level with, yet... when in practice, the double damage is non-existent. Anyone else having this issue?

Absurdly powerful pvp pet in S/S breed

Use Vicious Fang, Crouch and Blinding Poison. As you will outspeed all but flyers and rabbits, you can keep someone locked down with Blinding Poison and being extremely durable with Crouch. While you spam Vicious Fang on them, building up into a large, nasty hitter.

Pet seems a bit OP at the moment, though it may be due to a bug. The last 4 people I pvp pet battled against all ran this pet.

Currently, it seems like the ability Poison Fang applies the Blinding Poison debuff. Each of those people had Burrow instead of Blinding Poison, yet I still got the debuff and with no cooldown on Poison Fang, they were able to pretty much lock me down.

I was lucky and found an H/H pet in the Auction House, although that breed is not noted in the information at the top of this page. I'll be interested to see if the slower speed and greater endurance still produce good fighting results.

Had anyone noticed if it comes in any of the other MoP snakeskins, like the Elder Python does?

Just wanted to mention that Sunreaver Micro-Sentry could be a great counter pet for PVP. I have been browsing through some random pet abilities at work and noticed his Lazer ability has a 200% hit chance, making Death Adders blind useless.

Unfortunately I am unable to test this due to being at work but thought I would mention it anyway!

Nerfed into oblivion.
Poison Fang damage nerfed.
Puncture Wound and Blinding Poison had +1 to CD.

Blinding poison>Puncture wound>Poison fang. Priority order. Thus make sure you don't miss the Blinding poison due to enemy stun/dodge. Pretty badass against most pets. Faced 3 lvl 25s today, unfortunately didn't had any mechanicals so I was easy prey. Crabs might make it.

Yikes, seems that everyone has one of these in PvP battles, some even have two and simply cycle between them. No fun.

Rose Taipan (added in Legion) has a very similar moveset except the level 4 skill. For Death Adder, it's Burrow, the Taipan has Paralyzing Venom instead. Taipan also has multiple breeds: H/H, S/S, P/P,B/B, P/S, P/B, S/B.

This pet has crouch ability. Its tooltip says "The user lowers its body close to the ground, reducing all damage taken by 50% for 3 rounds."
Can someone picture a snake lowering its body close to the ground?

This appears to apply blinding for two rounds which is OP.
