Also, NElfs are far from having the most content. There are races that got just as much or even more content without having to give up nearly as much as the NElfs. And most of the NElf content was not asked for by Nelfs, nor did it benefit NElfs. Story arcs like when NElfs helplessly watched their capital get deleted and not reclaimed (unlike the Forsaken who already started to re-settle into their lands) was not Nelf content for the benefit of the NElfs, and most Nelf players wish blizz never gave them that kind of content and attention. Just as "all the NElf content in these last patches" like losing one of our leaders to exile in exchange for a green dragon who did nothing, or NElfs getting a 5-building refugee camp instead of Teldrassil and Darnassus, while Tauren already had an earlier questline to get a settlement in the Dragon Isles in addition to Thunder Bluff and Mulgore still standing, was not wished for by the NElfs, so they should be free to complain. Trolls got so many dungeons and raids throughout the expansions that "troll patch" became a meme, and they still got half an expansion with three large zones, and Humans got loads of story too, SW was rebuilt twice, half of BfA was still about them, and Anduin will still return for TWW. Oh and people to this day meme about "Green Jesus" "Garrosh did nothing wrong" "yet another genocidal warchief" and "Draenor is fReEeEeE" so it's not like bad stories weren't dragged before. Advocating for more content for other races is of course valid, but let's not have a recency bias distortion of the history of the game.
