Rp has no place in m+. Keep it for m0 of course but disable or drastically, and I mean DRASTICALLY reduce it for m+
You can have RP on M+ if you build around it, like having a conversation that can be skipped with items in the dungeon or extra mobs that can be pulled during it.

while i do agree rp is bad for m+, they have removed the rng from dungeons to make it fair, like the freehold captain rng route, waycrest manor doors and more , why just dont remove the rp at all if i wanna experience the rp lore from the dungeon i might aswell go do the m0 version or heck heroic too lol, but alas if blizzard overlords says that rp is mandatory theres nothing we can do lmao

The fact that there is discourse at all about this is the result of Blizzards weird design mismatch of wanting to add a big, sprawling mega-dungeon with lots of RP and set pieces while also wanting those dungeons to be available as split up speed run courses. Whatever amount of time the RP adds doesn't actually matter because the problem is that it's at odds with how every other M+ dungeon works by design. The goal of these is pull fast, skip what you can and never stop. When that's the ideal you've been trained on by the game all season, any amount of forced stoppage is going to feel wrong because that's not how other dungeons work. We saw this problem during Legion when this whole system came out with the various unique Court of Stars interactions that had to be adjusted so many times.IMO Mythic + needs a bigger rework to make it more challenge and less speed focused
The timers are all built around it. And that's not counting being able to cheese/early start them.You never lost a key because of RP dialogue. You lost it because you didn't have the damage or many other factors.Every time they trim RP off a key with a time already set they need to adjust the time of the key accordingly.
