if we start this way i would say okay, but i'm doing the chain thing for like 30 days and now you change for nothing? so it will only help people who already have 27-28 but will trouble everyone else
What's the point of playing this season anymore? Besides the fact that everyone abused pre nerf broken specs during the 2 easiest push weeks, after nerfs to the broken specs go live and buffs like this are applied, pushing is over anyway.
They should remove the crap altogether, this was already stupid in Necrotic Wake. Imagine going into a dungeon to play with op toys instead of your actual class.
Would've been a necessary change if they worked this way near the start of the season. I feel like nerfing this strategy mid-season in a dungeon that's still very challenging due to the bosses (specifically Forgemaster) being hard isn't good for the health of an already-bad season.I'm honestly conflicted, because this absolutely needed to happen from a design PoV but didn't need to happen from a "this is just going to make title pushing significantly harder going forward" PoV, since in high keys you actually needed to cheese the place with chains to time the key.They should honestly wipe every Neltharus score above a 28 (or just lower it to a timed 27) to make this fair to people looking to title push later in the season. There is ZERO CHANCE most groups will be able to do the +30 now.

This change is being made too late into the season. Neltharus' timer is so tight that it required a strat like this to time at high key levels. Blizzard needs to make the timer longer if they're going to do this because this adds a solid 2 minutes onto current routes as it is.
This dungeon was already very easy before the mob nerf. I'd rather they revert the mob nerf and keep the chains the way they were. Makes this dungeon actually fun.Dungeons should not be balanced around +27s. This is a pretty serious point. Why not 20.
Bad change mid season, should have been changed week 2 if anything.
So the timer is gunna increase and/or the mobs will have less health right? .....right?
its time to reset the leaderboards me thinks after two weeks of aug domination.
make classes simpler, make healing fun. make pugs possible.
Dislike this change, especially if they aren't gonna tune the rest of the dungeon to compensate for this change.
Everyone had 2 weeks to push with the good specs and good strats, if you didn't, you lose. Might as well log off until next season.
I think this would be a great change if made in the first few weeks but going into week 12 after most likely best 2 push weeks is pretty lame. I think in the low 20+ range this will add 3-5 mins worth of trash onto a your timer which isn't small at all.
We're over halfway through the season, whats the point in nerfing it now?
