Can't they just make the rares soloable for players?Scale the area to match the players fighting it?I don't think new characters even have resources so this seems weird. Are the keys account bound? lol
Great now fix Caverns if that is even possible.
Sweet, this motivates me to go after the Vault achievements again!
I wish that they would make Forbidden Reach rares solo farmable... and a good way to farm resources (separately from FR)
Now we just need a way to make Scroll Hunter less of a pain.
The last thing we need is less people farming the rares. Nerf the health of the rares so I can farm the rare items!
How is this a catch up mechanic? Is there some hidden NPC that lets you buy the catch up gear for keys?
While this is a good change "ONLY" for Vault farming, it however doesn't fix the problem with rest of the whole zone. As many have pointed out, rares are nightmare to solo even if certain classes/specs don't have issues soloing but the rares have extremely high HP and that makes it boring, tiring and utterly complete waste of time. Also, since Blizz have gone mad or even crazy with the idea of "open world MUST feel more threating" and added tons of Elite mobs with hard hitting abilities and high HP anywhere and everywhere you go to do most of the open world activities, this design makes it only worse for returning players or those who take their time to do open world activities. As soon as the next patch comes out, this terrible design starts showing it's flaws when suddenly majority of the players move to new and shiny stuff and all these "elite OMG it feels hard now" type of mobs are left for low ilvl or returning players who simply can't do anything there making the whole zone even more deserted than it used to be in the past.Remember all those old zones added during content patches where even after two patches, you will still see plenty of people there farming all sort of things? Then Blizz started listening to those tiny but very vocal community how open world is faceroll as soon as they over gear it, and as usual they decided to swing it super hard into opposite direction and make open world content like mini raids that most of the players simply can't solo even when overgeared.
Nerf the rares. People will still play together if that is what they are worried about. Many times 2-3 people would die trying to kill a rare and give up. They should scale like rares did in the past.
now this is a good change but even over gearing and able to solo some rares are a pain if not impossible to solo for some specs. and not everyone looks at the looking for group tool in these zones. often i see people begging for help with 1-3 people in zone
Yup, a good change.
Should've been like this from the start. Farming keys was easily one of the most annoying things about the Zskera Vaults. They should've made them a guaranteed drop from rares too.
nerf the rares and the zone is actually usable, the vault only is simply not worth it
I'd already forgotten that this zone and the empty caverns place existed. Dragonflight suffers from extreme zone ADHD.At least it's an evolution, Shadowlands had zone trauma in the form of the maw and Korthia. Why do they insist on making new content zones either traumatic or pointless/forgettable?
I rather farm Korthia then this ^&*!ty zone. I still see more people there where I dont even need help then in the vaults. And I play on a high pop server.
