As a more casual player, this is very welcome. The rate of content this expac is too fast for folks like me to keep up with rep and being able to group up and take down the elites. I think I've spent a total of two hours combined in Forbidden Reach through my 3 or 4 primary characters.
This is a great addition because many players had moved on to Zaralek Cavern before they were finished with Forbidden Reach, the patch cadence didn't leave much time to get that zone meta done, at least for me personally. I was able to go back this morning and knock out the Every Door, Everywhere, All At Once achievement in no time at all with all the spare supplies I had.
Now do something like this for Lost Souls in Shadowlands or remove that entirely, also for Grateful Offerings.
Would love for them to add the gear tokens that drop in Forbidden Reach to be purchasable too. The fact that people barley do Reach anymore makes it a real pain to get the tokens since they too are rng
Why tho? The vaults don’t drop anything relevant to current content since the ring is pretty much dead. This more for achievement catch up or what?
the keys have been account bound since day 1. I logged on every alt to do the intro for the 6 extra keys and sent them to my main and 1-2 alts
This would have been lovely in 10.1 because apparently the ring was really good for healers and my monk was wearing garbage gear when the season started
Seeing zones go obsolete so quickly in an expansion is kind of depressing. I wish they'd find a new formula for content, or at least scale things more effectively. Once something is no longer current, just like these time rifts and such will be once next patch comes out, hardly anyone will be doing them and they will be a struggle. Scale them so that they can truly remain playable past when the content is current.
Why can't you buy BoA gear instead? This is a huge Cath up...Managed to add something to the game again...almost.
I think Blizzard believes it is easy to find a group for all the rare mobs. Bonus Objective rares are for groups too. But it is not easy. It depends on the time. Even the major group events sometimes take HOURS just to find one group in the que. Did they stop cross-realm or something?
We went there for a ring and the 3 stones that worked best until that got nerfed, the keys help farming the pets/mount easier, outside of the mount you farm from the storm bosses there is zero reason to go back there, the entire zone was a waste of time.
