You'll know when a Irradiated Elemental has been hit by a Supercollider because it'll turn red, double its size, and change its name to Unstable Irradiated Elemental.

This will cause the elemental to double their health and since they'll take longer to kill, make sure to watch your stacks of Irradiated. Hitting 20 will instantly kill you!

Maybe that's your specific unlucky source. Mine was getting the Caustic Mechaslime to drop its blueprint. Other people would drop it first kill while me, since day one, only got mine last week. Already did most Mechagon content, now just the construction achievements and DG to do to get the missing blueprint or other stuff and I'll be really done with that zone. But for now I'm on a vacation off that place e.e gotta lend more time to my alts, level the missing Allied Races too..Comment by ButMadNNWJust finished my day on Mechagon. Cogfrenzy and Cogstar both continue to withhold two of my last three blueprints. Crazed Trogg won't drop that last Mechanocat paint vial (although I did get a third hovercraft paint from somewhere - and don't have that vehicle XD).

BUT I helped a complete stranger trigger Doppel Ganger when I saw them messing with the pipes, just because I had two pressure valves and no reason to keep them. And hard-mode Reclamation Rig finally coughed up the last vinyl I needed!

So, you take the good, you take the bad... and if you're of a certain age in the US, you probably now have an earworm. Good night! :)
