Gotta say, I'm sad to see my favorite fishing spot in Dalaran will only be available to rogues now. That's quite disappointing.
Looks great, am looking forward to Outlaw and I know a lot wished for it to be in Ravenholdt, but remember that Dalaran Sewers are filled with mysteries :P"for real imagine what a mage can do to pass time while he's in toilet"
THIS is our Order Hall? Did all the changes to the class drain the budget? Come on, now...
This order hall is completely disappointing for rogues. I just don't have the right words to express my disgust at Blizzard's laziness at this point.
Still holding out hope that when the alpha/beta comes back in January they will reveal that it was just a cruel joke at our expense, and that they didn't just hire some random hobo off the street to throw in whatever old models they could find lying around and call it a day. Seriously, who in their right mind thought this was even remotely acceptable? To lie to the rogue playerbase repeatedly during the closed development phase, saying it's not just a trashy sewer, we're really going to be impressed, etc., and then reveal this steaming pile of crap when it is just about too late to make any meaningful changes really pisses me off.
LoL... that about sums up my expression on this.Ok honestly i was expecting more not just "rogues took over the sewers and added a few things here and there" didn't Tom Chilton say in 2015 that it was going to be a lair and your not going to feel like your in the sewers at all?... .. .. . that looks & feels like the sewers Tom >_> don't know what pictures he was looking at (anyone else find him very obnoxious in interviews :/ i'm just not going to believe anything that guy says about future content, Ion does it right :)damn, we should have asked harder for Ravenholdt >_> This and the warlocks class hall are pretty disgraceful compared to what they gave the other classes, i realise classes are supposed to have there own uniqueness but that does not mean that they should get less treatment because blizz got a bit lazy.. If i was a art director and i saw this compared to the mage/druid etc class halls i would have removed that team and gotten another one to redo it >_> i don't even play my rogue that much but whoever mains one i feel Very sorry for as i will be dancing around on my mage or warrior in there actually well done order halls :/Hope it gets better before live.
I've always thought of my rogue to be connected to the Deathstalkers (forsaken), I've never heard of the blight spreaders. Do all classes have made up sub-factions for Legion?
I think it's suitable a rogue hub. Perhaps not as classy as a manor, but successfully gives off that secret-access safehouse vibe. I'm definitely more accepting of it than the warlock area, with it's gratuitous green rocks.
Regarding the Rogue Order Hall I don't know what I expected but - it sucks. I wish I had something more eloquent to say, but - it sucks. The Dalaran sewers... been there, done that. I'm not inspired.
Why all that weapons look so ugly? :( And sheated to the waist? ( Outlaw ) bleh.I hope to transmo it into something better.
Most of us that play Rogues regularly are vehemently apposed to being thrown in the Sewers. this is NOT skyrim and we are NOT the thieves guild. We are suppose to be the best of the best and yet we are skulking around in the sewers? Class fantasy my ass this feels so lazy and cliche its not even funny.
It's looks like bLizzard wants to flush the class into the sewers... literally... /watch?v=LKdjrQQY_yI Sad:(
I'm sorry but WTF Blizzard? Seriously, every other class gets a brand new Order Hall, and we get a slightly remodeled Dalaran sewers? Whatever, I wasn't really looking forward to this whole Order Hall idea anyway. I swear as a Rogue I don't feel like hanging with other rogues, or anyone for that matter, I like to stealth in and do my things, alone. Still this is underwhelming.
I'm comletely disappointed in Blizzard, when they changed Karabor and Bladespire cities to Ashran they didn't listen to our complains / feedback. Now it's starting to feel the same with the Rogue class hall.
Unlike a lot of rogues, I was willing to give Dalaran Sewers a shot. But as with most others here. I'm incredibly underwhelmed / disappointed and not just about the hall, but also what's in it (or absent). As was mentioned above, when people think Forsaken Rogue, they think Deathstalkers. We're not the Royal Apothecary Society. Given that the core idea for this expansion was getting back to class identity, immediately we're thrown 'Blight Spreaders' that no-one can identify with because its just been made up! The Shattered Hand don't feel like the Shattered Hand we know that have been based under Orgrimmar for the past decade, they feel like a copy-paste from a Draenor 30 years in the past. The guard NPC's are wearing one of the worst Tier Sets for the class Fantasy (you don't feel overly rogue like when your face is growing bright blue and it's fugly to boot) and I can't help but feel that Bloodsail Corsairs are shoe-horned in to match the "pirate fantasy" the new outlaw spec's going for. I know prominent rogue NPC's are few and far between, with the 3 best known ones making an appearance. But.. not even a representative from Ravenholdt? THE rogue faction? The place where the Fangs of the Father rogue legendary was based? Where really old rogues such as myself learned to Detect Traps? The leader of which holds the title "Lord of the Assassins League" and they're not even represented? Not including Ravenholdt to Rogues is the same as having a Shaman class hall devoid of the Earthen Ring, or a Druid class hall absent of the Cenarion Circle. The sewers idea has recieved a lot of hate since its announcement, but with this, I think even people who were willing to give it the benfit of the doubt will be incredibly disappointed. But i'm not naive enough to believe that we'll get something different between now and release.
