BIG thumbs up. This needs to be gone from the game.
@Archimtiros: it doesn't let me quote your answer, I think it's normal since it's an edit, but the price for the repair hammers is the same on all servers, only changes based on region, perhaps you play on the US, where price seems to be a bit more expensive, but I'm checking now on undermine exchange, and there's big fluctuations, a low US price is 10-16 gold, but right after a flip it can be as high as 50-70, that's probably what you were referring to.For a comparison, in EU it's 8-18 most of the time, it was recently flipped to 220, but went down to 45 in a few hours and now it's at 25, I'm also contributing to lowering it since it's nice to buy these hammers at 15, which is below crafting cost!
Yes please get rid of it. I spend half my game time doing WQ for gold for repairing M+ & Raid. Just delete durability, we don't need that anymore.
This isn't a mistake, or an oversight, this is working and done as intended, fully aware this would be a concern - they really love screwing players over. Also, as one user wrote: "It's intended so that people buy/sell more tokens = Blizzard earns from you playing their game even more than merely paying the sub fee.GG's I guess"Every harmful thing on this game is either created on purpose or by naive incompetence that turns into pleasure by the awareness of it (then "fixed" when there's only a couple of months before the expansion ends).
Let me tell you about my bozo Fireblaster — he’s been crying all night over Lura!He started with 100k and is already down to 67k. Poor as an 18-year-old male can be. And the best part? We’re still like 100 pulls away from the kill.#prey#Fireblaster#TerrenMill
just another piece of crap from the pile of crap that Blizzard pulled out of their bag full of crappy ideas for us
If you haven't started your Draenor garrison, consider doing so. If you build up the forge to max, there's an npc who gives you a 4 hour buff that makes your gear indestructible. Should still work fine.
Seriously guys, most people count their gold in the hundreds of thousands or even millions, and you're crying about repair costs.
As long as you dont die you can use the Draenor Garrison Blacksmith npc to negate all repair costs as she gives you a buff that removes them as long as you dont die, as well as the chance to summon an elemental to help in combat (which only works in Draenor). Better than nothing.
FF just uses a super cheap reagent in order to repair gear, and it breaks FAR slower. And if you have the proper crafting Job at a high enough level for the piece, you can over-repair it up to 199% durability. What is stopping Blizzard from doing something this simple?
the repair costs are ridiculous. we have enough gold sinks already, stop making things suck arbitrarily
Not enough that blizz has literally THOUSANDS of dollars in cosmetics/mounts/housing BS in their shop right now? They also have to punish people for actually playing their %^&*ing game and force us to buy wowtokens? Bro we couldn't even make gold legitimately by using their insane crafting system because people were able to just SPAM BUY KNOWLEDGE BOOKS off their $%^&ing vendors for the first two weeks of the expac which absolutely trashed the economy for multiple professions.
man, you KNOW the game is bad when 3 thousand is also TENS OF THOUSANDS OF GOLD ...
I love it when people pretend that you can do one or two WQs to get the cost on a single repair set.. not in the US. Sounds like EU or whatever country the commenter is in has either much much higher WQ gold rewards are much much lower repair costs in their region.
My guild had to turn off guild repairs. We literally ran out of gold. There is no really a direct way for a guild to generate gold anymore.
I've played every class several times so, I highly doubt the explanation given for the repair bills. Also, ArenaNet took out repair costs in their game so, I'm concerned that Blizzard can't do something on par with that.
Crying on a whole new level. Doing World Quests for 30 minutes twice a week yields tens of thousands of gold.
