same bs like with transmog xD its 2 WQ to make 2k gold, that’s about 3 minutes’ work.
Still cheaper than oil, thanks Murica
Can the newer generation or non-WoW players stop complaining about everything they dislike? Back in the day, this wasn’t an issue. You had to put in the work and time in the game, but now it feels like people have turned into lazy gamers who don’t want to put in any effort and expect rewards just for showing up.
Yeah, on my Warrior running an M+ dungeon like Skyreach is like -300g from durability loss alone. 0 deaths. There are runs I've spent more on repairs from durability loss than the end chest of the dungeon rewarded in gold. Its a small difference but it adds up over time. If I wasn't actively using the AH to make gold I'm certain I would be in deficit. I'd appreciate a cost reduction. I want to get back to a place where it feels like playing the game normally is passively increasing the gold I have rather than draining it.
This is such a nothingburger. The type of players earning mythic gear aren’t ones who are going to be short of money to pay repair bills. If we sand away any friction at all the game will just become a lobby game for M+ and raiding, not the MMORPG we all started playing.
There isn’t a repair vendor that uses a reputation discount in silvermoon either. I tried looking for a Horde specific one in the Horde only section and found the same thing. I find myself hearthing back to Orgrimmar when possible to repair and get the 20% discount.
Repairs might be a little insane, especially for a mythic raider or a high level m+ dungeon runner, but it really isn't that hard to make gold. A loop of the gold world quests, paired with the wq weekly (cause the box drops gold), and any special assignment boxes that might be there, is fairly easy. I've been selling off half of my petrified roots, and sometimes some of the purple skinning mats (majestics), I've also gotten lucky with stat food. I'll check the price of what is selling and cook some up. I've always got mats just sitting in the bank for cooking, Feasts sometimes sell, but not often enough to make sure I've always got all the mats to make extra to sell above the ones I make for my team to run with. I don't think repairs need to be a huge gold sink (there's plenty of those!), but still, it's not too terribly hard to make gold.
I never undertood this. The mount is mine, why do I have to pay for its services? (real coment and a joke)
No better time to be a blacksmith
M+ chests and raid bosses should drop way more gold than they do. 1-2k each boss is not asking too much for hero+ raids.
Repairing gear feels like such a vanilla mechanic, should've been gone by MoP at the latest.
Cry some more, gold is easy to make, just play the game, there are WQs that give 1000g for like no work.
Good, it's not just me. I've been alive long enough to shrug at dumb game stuff, instead of pulling an entitled gamer who gets extra worked up about dumb game stuff by typing hyperbolic statements about my anger over dumb game stuff. It'd be cool if repairs cost less, but I manage to make enough gold each season to bankroll the next with minimal time/effort (see: enchanting), so whatever. Gold's for spending.
Literally not having this problem because I do world quests and the capstones.Play the game.
