The despair of not knowing exactly how he becomes murosond is most likely what corrupts the infinite dragons. Now with all the confusion and despair cleared away doesn't mean he won't still become the infinite version of himself, but at least it means he can control how he becomes murozond. A good murusond with all the perks of now being infinite.... but this is cool and blizz is bad at writing stories soooo what ever.
Dune series book readers, I wonder if Chromie is going to be the "Siona" of sorts here. Or switching gears, as in Wheel of TIme, maybe they do a Moridin/Rand switch? Sorry if I am being vague I don't want to spoil anything for anyone wishing to read
My extremely wild take: He is already Murozond, and is simply just waiting for when the time is right to reveal the truth...
This all sounds like such cope. As much cope as WoWheads "Was the Primus the true Jailer the whole time!" article. Dragonflight has been all about being peaceful and uplifting. Nothing much more to it. The Blue Dragonflight comes to terms with Malygos and Sindragosa, and end up putting them to rest while becoming a happy family again. The Green Dragonflight is about pulling a Deus Ex Machina on Ysera so they can have a happy family reunion and she can get confidence to be the green aspect. The Black Dragonflight is about coming to terms with Deathwing, and banding together as a happy family to support the new Black Aspect. Why WoWhead would think the Bronze would take some sort of unique hiddenly tragic path is beyond me? Perhaps it's as simple as this. Blizzard wanted to be happy happy feels feels, so they retconned Murozond from ever happening. They pretty much let Chromie save Nozdormu so we could get that cheesy hugging scene at the end, and sell the message, "Even when all is lost, it's not really! With the power of love and friendship, you can overcome anything, even predestined fate!" The future is worth fighting for, all that cheese. I'm sure the Red Dragonflight will also tell a similar story. Since Nzoth, Shadowlands etc, we should all know by now this deeply layed theory crafting isn't WoW's style. They tell simple and cheesy stories. The Jailer was a brain dead terribly written "mastermind". Murozond? He was just retconned or pretty much prevented from ever happening because we used the power of friendship to stop that timeline.
Nozdormu realises that the entire existance of the bronze dragonswarm is pointless, because "protecting the original timeline" doesn't really do anything.Remember when Garrosh, not the infinite Dragonswarm, messed with the timeline? Ours didn't change, a new timeline popped into existance. So basically, every single effort the bronze dragonswarm has put into their garbage mission was not to protect our timeline, but to prevent new ones, that might even become better than ours, from being created.Every single crime they themselves committed, every single crime they've had adventurers commit, it's all in vain just to fulfill a ridiculously stupid mission and not fulfilling said mission does not even have an effect on our timeline.I too would go crazy when I realised that I've wasted not only my entire existance, but also that of my entire race of dragons.Murozond is inevitable, we've already seen him in our timeline, the question isn't if Nozdormu becomes Murozond, it's when and why. My theory is that he realises bronze dragons are stupid.
and i will be waiting for it.
Murozond final boss in Dragonflight confirmedHe will reshape Azeroth for us.
