As a retribution paladin I was using Relentless Earthsiege Diamond originally. Information from maxdps stated this meta was the choice. My DPS dropped from an average of 2400 to 2200.I replaced this with Chaotic Skyflare Diamond and my DPS has returned.
I would not recommend this meta for a ret paladin.

i a quick question Swift Skyflare Diamond need 1 red or 2 yellows for it to work right. what if you want to use one of those dragon's eye with the Swift Skyflare Diamond, will still work or not.

Anyone knows if this stacks with the Druid's Feral Swiftness talent and the 2nd set-bonus from the PvP gear? Thank you.

EDIT : Tested with MonkeySpeed addon, it doesn't work in cat form and travel form. It only works in "human form" and bear forms. This applies to all enchants and items which increase your movement speed.

To clear up any questions about the run speed increase: it's actually quite noticeable. If you and some other people are running and they don't have this, but you do, you can notice catching up to and passing them rather quickly.

Run speed is often overlooked as a raiding stat, but it's probably the most useful melee dps survival stat there is. Seriously consider this gem, especially if you have less than two blue sockets on your gear. (Belt buckles don't count.)

Minor run speed? I dont know how much? And i dont know if it is the same boost like Scroll of Enchant Boots - Tuskarr's Vitality?

With Cataclysm this might be new best choice as a meta for leveling, since the Chaotic Skyflare will now need more blue gems than red ones and be effectively useless to people with their current gems. The Running Speed increase is a nice bonus if you don't have it already.

This might be one of the choices for Survival Hunter since we nearly spam all sockets with +20 Agi gems.
With the change of Relentless Earthsiege Diamond which requires more Blues than Reds, you'll lost a lot of Agi if you wish to keep this meta.

I know the 8% run speed is a bit useless for hunter cause we already got this
But...seems like we dont have much choice, what else we can choose now?
This? Invigorating Earthsiege Diamond.
or this? Thundering Skyflare Diamond.

Does anyone know if it stacks with assassin's step enchant?

Not sure why, but it does not work for me.
Tried on a naked character level 60 with Elmo di Scaglie del Crociato, and Diamante Aria Fulgida Celere in its meta slot.
I see +2 on crit, but +0 on run speed.

I have also tested it. unequipped all of my speed gear and talents, then used the speed macro to test if i get anything from it. Got absolutely 0 speed from it.

Speed test macro:
/script base = BASE_MOVEMENT_SPEED
/script cur, run, fly, swim = GetUnitSpeed("player")
