In order to get a Falcosaur hatchling as a battle pet you need to feed it, Each with a different type of food.
All four foods can be purchased from vendors in the Broken Isles.

If you, like me, forgot to bring one of these to get your Snowfeather Hatchling, don't worry! If you use Flight Master's Whistle from the location of the Hatchling it will bring you right to Marius Felbane, who can help you out!
